This is a totally different kind of video, not as... um unique. But I was obsessed with this video before the V70R came out. I remember being very upset about that car carrier, (named “Tricolor”) transporting volvos over that sank ... remember that? Just a few XC90s and V70Rs in there. on the bottom of the English…
Most vintage Ferraris I’ve seen uses Fram. I had to google it once because I couldn’t believe it either.
That photo brings me back. I remember that issue! I agree, that chassis A4 was the birth of the modern “former BMW driver, now Audi driver.”
On his podcast he mentioned he felt self conscience being in a flashy car, so he doesn’t drive them allot.
Agreed, the sedan rear trunk just looks like a big picnic table. I love the boxiness of the 740/940 wagon, but its just not working on the sedan. Its boxy like a 1980’s Crown Vic, but not as good.
You’re right! Not enough coffee this morning it would seem.
But the salvage title kills the value.
Not sure why they think the danger is what makes F1 exciting. For me it was the sound and the tight competitiveness ( in general as a sport). Again, the sound of the V10’s and V12’s was just an experience, when they were used of course. Also the wackiness of innovation. I’m sure its hard to open up the restrictions to…
The driver just thought the car looked better going than coming to the passerby.
Nope, the fault returned anyway. It has been back numerous times for a check engine light. I did specify I would like the car for the weekend, as they have had it more than I in the first 6 months of ownership. I showed up to collect it, and they had given it to my mechanic. The stain, the car now dirty and low on…
Test drive is not “go get lunch.” Not sure how that can be confused. I had a GTi that was under warranty work (for the umpteenth time) and they gave it to a mechanic for the weekend to “test to make sure the faults were eliminated.” Yeah ... I could do that, thank you very much. All I got for that was a mystery stain,…
I agree with you, Patrick. I have been keeping my 1990 SPG alive, but its such an extrememly rare bird on the road. And I live in the land of SAABs, Maine (New England in general). I even get thumbs up from people that I suspect never cared before, but now that it is a novelty to see a 900 on the road it gets…
I am a little annoyed at Amazon. Reason being is that I purchased the TG Season 22 pass, and not only did I not get a refund for the episodes that never aired, but it does not apparently include the last episode of TG, nor does it include an option to purchase it. So SOL I guess!
Sounds like they are just as careless with their finance as they are with their build quality.
