The B-pillar.
Is that another one of your “Exiting a car like a BAMF” shots?
Bueno!
Thanks for pointing out the aerodynamics issue: it is a substantial difference.
Dealers in my region (Quebec) don’t have any at the moment. Odd considering that it’s the province with most EVs on the road and the first ZEV province in the country.
I’m quite surprised that the Ioniq will be able to get better range than the Leaf from a smaller battery pack (28 vs 30). Any explanations why?
I’m also quite surprised that the Ioniq will use a CSS Combo connector instead of Chademo like Kia.
Initilly, I thought the fire was caused by a tire blowout (happens if you spin your tire too fast), but according to the picture, it’s not the case.

I remember driving one and just laughing at the ridiculously small turning radius!
Never mind the Sasquatch, there’s a freaking Magnum in the background! It’s been ages since I’ve seen one!
Not necessarily.
There are 3 fast-charging standards in the world: CSS Combo, Chademo and Tesla. Most charging stations feature both CSS Combo and Chademo plugs. Tesla also sells a Chademo adaptor.
“Built to EDM standards”.
Flashy and blasting loud obnoxious electronic music?
The Rav4 is more fuel efficient than a Sienna.
So if you don’t need all the space of a Sienna and have two kids, the Rav4 is the smarter choice.
I’m taking the data from Consumer Reports and Car Complaints.
There’s an extended warranty on the engine because bad turbos could cause major issues. The 2.3L may also be prone to oil burning. Note that the CX-7 had the same engine and same issues.
Note that I said it’s more likely to fail; I’m not saying it will, I’m…
In the first generation (up to 2009), the 2.3L turbo was unreliable.
It takes premium fuel instead of regular, and insurance costs more.
But, for the 2013 model year, you have 263hp vs 167hp.
:o
I have to agree that Montreal is a lot “dryer” now that what I can recall.
I’m glad I now live in QC: there’s just enough snow for skiing (alpine and X-country).
Does it make a bit of a difference in the snow?
Great text, although I noted a few things.
Small typo: you forgot to add “job” in the following sentence : “does a fantastic at taking on Montreal potholes”. No biggie.
