The plane was fresh off of an 18-year restoration and may never fly again.
Back in June of 2007, I was flying to Los Angeles to visit my sister - this was my first visit and like only my second or third time flying*. I got a ride into O’Hare, had plenty of time to clear security, etc., and get to my gate. And it started to rain, a huge storm system that spread all the way back to the middle…
Bean Dad blew it. It was a teaching opportunity and not in his way of “learning problem solving is good” way.
Please thank your son for doing his part in keeping the manual transmission around. & gosh damnit, kudos to you for instilling such appreciation.
The racing lines are atrocious. They race like me in Forza - bounce off the other cars (marbles) and walls to get in first.

Polish up the headlight lenses with a 3M kit (or the like)
Nah, just looks like that.
Born 1971. Mixed tapes, cassingles, you name it. Every car had a case of analog cassettes in it that would inevitably spill out all over and the cases would shatter.
Older GenXer here, I stayed on the forefront of car audio for quite some time. Early in high school we were lucky to have a cassette player, some cars still had 8 track players or worse yet AM only! I transitioned from buying pre-recorded tapes to buying albums and making my own tapes fairly quickly. Ah the joys of…
Pole Position had the best commercial ever and I will look for any excuse to link to it.
Hey there, almost neighbor. I can turn my head and look right at City Hall ... which now for the first time in ten hours is not accompanied by the incessant chants of the striking workers of this hilariously mismanaged and essentially bankrupt city.
