Do you actually think the McDonalds franchisee is going to pony up $50-60k per charging station? (That’s what my workplace paid to install 2 charging stations.)  And that’s assuming they have 3-phase power available in their store.  That’s a lot of Big Macs return on investment!

The real problem with EVs is that there are huge, vast, empty areas of the US. No way they’ll ever overcome the charging station issue. There is literally no cost/benefit to build these charging stations 150 miles from nowhere on the way to another 150 miles from nowhere. Maybe you’ll find them on interstates but

That’s so true!  It feels like Ferrari releases a new model every week or 2.

It’s interesting you say that. Whenever my wife and I go to LA to visit a friend of hers, I always go to the South Orange County Cars and Coffee. It’s usually huge. Everyone skips the rows of McLarens, Lambos and Ferraris to search out the old or interesting cars around the rest of the lot. Sure, a Pagani or an ‘Egg

Where the hell do you get all the parts needed to fix this? I highly doubt McLaren has a warehouse full of Senna parts like a Toyota dealership. And if you can find any parts, how much do you think that will cost! and I’d be shocked if Safelite could pop out and replace all the scratched glass!

I feel the same and I grew during the Cold War when we had to do duck and cover drills in elementary school!

I told my wife that I hope when the assholes get rid of FEMA I hoped a category 5 hurricane hits Florida because those idiots deserve zero assistance.  Her response was people that voted against will suffer too.  Casualties of war, honey.

I’ve had Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires for my 2008 Audi RS4 since the first winter I owned it (2016). I mounted them on the road-rashed OEM wheels the car came with.  Come summer I got a new set of wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. Best investment ever. The car is unstoppable during the harsh Cleveland winters!

This was a favorite design of VW/Audi.  Both of my 2008 Audi V8s (RS4 and S4 Avant) are of similar architecture - rear timing chains, chain driven accessories (power steering pump, water pump, A/C compressor) and water-cooled alternator.

George Russell is a whiney pussy.  Like GP said to Max on the cool down lap, karma’s a bitch.

Hamilton is a whiney baby.  He was the recipient of the most dominant car in the history of the sport.  He’s a very good driver, but not at all among the greats.  Off the track, he’s an amazing human being.  On the track, not so much.

I would probably go with Lancia over Maserati, but I agree with what your saying.  The only Lancia’s left are rebadged Fiat shit-boxes.

There was an old guy in a Dodge (Fiat) Dart in front of me at a McDonalds drive thru. The Dart is pathetic as it is, but this geezer put Hemi, R/T and Scat Pack badges on the trunk! Dude, it’s a three cylinder Fiat!!

21st century 911s...absolutely!  But anything aircooled, I’m on board with seeing all day long.

Don’t forget about the Lincoln Versailles!  It was a gussied up Ford Grenada. So...some competition?

Lauda’s 312T2 is great, but the Braham Fan car is right up there!

Chrysler minivans were rebadged and sold by VW as the Routan from 2009 to 2014.

I would argue that Stroll is (and was at the time) the current Mazepin, but I get your point.  Only way he’s in F1 is daddy.

You honestly don’t think they build the Red Bull to suit Verstappen’s driving style? It was the same with McLaren when Riccardo was there. They built the car to Norris’ driving style was was very different from Danny Ric’s. Piastri obviously is similar to Norris. From everything I’ve read and heard, Max prefers a car
