There were a couple of incidents: on one occasion a car turned straight into the barriers at the inside of a corner; on another occasion one car rear-ended another.”

COTD!  How many will get the reference?!?!

I have a question.  I may be stupid but are their any Chinese cars (built in Mexico or not) sold in America?  It’s seems a very specific - and non-existent - thing for disgraced ex-president Cheeto to rail against.  Of course, he’s about as sharp as a beachball so...

Absolutely agree. I bought an 8 year old, one owner, regularly maintained Audi RS4 in 2016 for $30k. Sticker in 2008 was $78K. It had 65k miles. I’ve had it for 8 years and added 55k miles. Not an issue and still a joy to drive. In 2020 I added a 2008 Audi S4 Avant. Single owner and regularly maintained. $54k new,

I agree! I have 2 co-workers with 250,000 mile+ Priuses and my wife has a 2013 Prius V with 356,000 miles! Original engine to boot.

Have you seen the times for the race? I live in Ohio, in the Eastern time zone. Qualifying is from 3am to 4am on Saturday morning and the race starts at 1am Sunday morning!  How is it that I cam watch a race in Abu Dhabi live at 8am but the race in my own country 3 time zones away starts at 1 fucking am?!?!

I did the timing chains on my 2008 Audi S4 V8. This required removing the engine. I have the Bentley manual for the car which gives a step by step instruction for removal. There are also YouTube videos detailing the removal.  The Total Technik YouTube video is by far the faster and easier version to refer to for the

This is one of those days that they should bring back the Nice Price or Crack Pipe name!

I agree.  I have an Audi RS4 and it is considered heavy at 4200 pounds.  The Mercedes EV sedan that actually looks smaller than my Audi is just shy of 6000 pounds!  I was shocked at the weight.

Ohio adopted this a couple of years ago.  EVs pay $200 on top of the normal vehicle registration fees and hybrids pay an additional $100.

Get over it already! Jesus.

Porsche 917!

Problem with this is that the local franchise probably doesn’t have 3-phase electric service (required for fast chargers), may not have 3-phase service available if they wanted to add fast chargers, or probably won’t want to foot the bill for installing fast chargers, which could cost in excess of $50k to purchase the

Add to that the fact that, at least in the GTP class, the fuel the cars use is 60% sustainable, with the goal to be 100% sustainable in the next year or two. Mass produced sustainable/synthetic fuels will be a game changer, especially if the ability to convert a current ICE vehicle is minimal.

I have an S (2008 S4 Avant) and RS (2008 RS4), combined 235,000 miles. Not a single issue and the build quality, even after 14 years, is light years higher that anything Tesla offers. Regular maintenance and they will run for years trouble free and are way more fun to drive than any Tesla.

BMW will probably charge a subscription fee to use the screen.

Jalopnik really needs a laughing emoji.  That is the COD!!!

Fuck you! Don’t generalize an entire generation because of a few pieces of shit!

You should see a doctor!
