I was honestly surprised to find that out. The best power unit is cheaper... whodathunkit?
Where it didn't impact the ground - sure. The bar that took the impact bent like a tent rod.
Dakar has nothing to do with F1, though. The viewership numbers are on opposite end of the earth.
It could be that Total doesn't want their name on a Merc powered car...
Hoorah!
Did you wait until the progress circle asked you if the switch was successful? It seems to still be working for me?
Yeah - the Mbenz engines must run Petronas. The oil is specifically designed for the engine, and it actually becomes more dense and stable as it is further heated and stressed. It's pretty cool.
They're still sponsoring the Frenchmen - they just aren't putting their logo on his car. From what I recall, it had to do with the Mercedes power switch.
I want to recommend this 400x, but Kinja read my memory (card) and said no.
Nice!
Also relieved to see that those little anti-kidnapping glow-in-the-dark latches are not only visible with the trunk shut, but the damn things work!
It's as if I'm being forced to admit that I wasted my time.
They lost Unilever, ripping Rexona and Clear's sponsorship out of the livery for 2015, to Williams. The decision to switch to (plausibly more expensive) Mercedes power over the break, at least in-part, forced Total off of the cars, but not totally out of Grosjean's corner. Maybe PDVSA will step up their game and…
I smell Imola coming back in to prime play.
Could Dodge market the Miata coupe in the U.S. under its own banner and finally "build" a car worth the swagger it has been touting since the Viper debuted over two decades ago?
I know there's a shit ton of development cost, but it kinda makes you doubt the legitimacy around the sticker-price of the thing when you see it stripped beyond a "megafactories" perspective. Heim Joints FT(rallye)W!
