I don't think it would have much affect on WRX STI buyers over say 30 but I think the BRZ STI would cannibalize nearly all the under 30 buyers. Why because they are more likely to buy for boy racer dreams and appearance/status. As we know here status within a car brand is often measured in HP and performance. If they

I agree and disagree. First I think they would only want to add at most 20-40hp to the STI version to prevent it from competing with the WRX STI. That is still a substantial power gain. I think this could be achieved with pistons, crank, rods and/or cams, valves. I don't see why they would need to replace the block

#COTD for this guy

Just because they wont be putting a turbo on does not mean they wont be giving it more power. They could change the crank, pistons and rods and do a stroker and give it some extra torque. Or pistons, cams and bore the block and go for some extra top end HP. Or all the above and ITB's. BMW used to do this all the time

Is this one of them AIG cars?

Here is the streetfire link. Comment to keep this on the top

I really like cars, industrial design and aerodynamics but for some reason what I have seen of Colani's work has just not sit well with me.

I have been wondering the same. Who is giving him the money to actually build these things? Or does he use his own wealth?

Luigi Colani because you have to be insane to come up with designs as awful as these (I will grant they are creative)

Oops. Good call. Too late to edit. I guess I have been thinking about my cars brakes too much recently :)

I couldn't for the life of me remember where I heard it. Thanks though.

I remember hearing a story about how this car got into the movie.

I think the Bavaria has to be one of the classiest cars every made

Wow now that is high miles. They really are incredible motors.

Kinja working again!

Classic BMW sewing machines. My m20 sounds the same.

If it was the Fairlady Z432 edition that car was pretty damn rare if I understand correctly and probably quite valuable. (just checked less then 500 built)

This need to be up on the list. Very reliable. Many blow past 200,000 miles as long as the timing belt is changed according to schedule. Arguably one of the best designed intake manifolds ever made.

I have so much love for m20 there's one in my car :)
