I think a Rolls Royce would be the perfect option in that price range. Few other cars will get more attention/recognition. Fast, comfortable, as unique as you can afford, and simultaneously practical and impractical.
Yeah we all agree Teslas are boring and I also like to start my car with a hand crank. Dumb argument against quartz watches...
BMW’s with badges on the sides of the car: X2, z4, z8, z3, e9, 507...

Looks like you have termites eating the metal in your transmission.
Define ineffectiveness. I think it is much more effective than everyone merging early. In a long line you get the problem of the ‘brake wave’. The longer the line the worse it gets. Two lanes at half the length would greatly reduce this and in doing so increases flow.
The problem is with people who tell other people it…
The Toyota Camry of terrible drivers: the Prius
You speak of Porsches as if they only made 911's. 924, 944, 928 are not really known for their reliability.
Not much. Brakes, shocks, springs, wiper blades, filters, oil. Pretty much just wear items.
Every BMW I have owned (4 of them) has had over 200k miles on them. I have never had any engine problems. Maybe try buying BMW’s that have been cared for and haven’t been beat to death?
On a side note older BMW engines (pre-vanos) are reliable as fuck m10, m20, m30, m42, m44
I have been around Jalopnik for years, why am I pending approval?
I also like the iQ. Would I own one? Probably no. But damn I think they are cool.
I think your eyes are broken.
