Personally I think I actually have better grip barefoot than with shoes on. Probably not great on long trips and I have never tried it in my current car as the previous owner added grip tape to the brake and clutch

It should however be mentioned that you could source a lot of these parts from other BMW models. Of course it will take a bit a research, being handy with tools, and a bunch of trips to junkyards.

IMHO the e30 M3 price has exceeded its value as a driving car and in now in the collectable range. I say this based on the fact you can get a good e30 325i for under $5 and with a few thousand ($2-3k) of work make you can make it as good or better than an e30 m3. Total cost under $8 grand.

I think these james bond torpedo tubes/missle launchers are kind of cool. However it would probably be a PITA to clean the lenses when they get covered with bugs.

I love the three buttons mounted on the CF beam in the middle instead is having a big heavy dash. Brilliant!
