To be far all German car brands that were around in the 30's and 40's have a lot to answer for.

Considering the fact they use the same 400hp V6 that’s in the upcoming Z there might be more of a demand for them. Plus that’s forgetting the fact it’s a Skyline which is a car model that yanks have been chucking absurd money at after wanking off to pictures of them for the past 3 decades.

I kinda wanna drive one now. Love how long the rear end are on these things.

Simply having retro inspired paintjobs on cars would be enough for me. I imagine there are enough boomers and Gen Xers in the US to make a Fall Guy GMC Sierra make sense. Now to get the American Broadcasting Company on board. You would think that would be done with both the fascination with Reboots, Nostalgia and the

How long would it be before there’s some sort of fringe activist group finding cars that sell for absurd money on BAT and vandalize them out of extreme jealousy or something? I don’t recommend anyone doing this of course.

You don’t even need to go that far back. You can just go back to the 20's and 30s with the Convertible sedan like bodystyles.

Turbo charged straight six?

I bought my “first car” back in mid 2019 (before the world turned to custard). I had a few rules to follow when picking my first car.

The world would be a better place if Opel and Holden collaborated more in the 80's and 90's. The Holden Commodore would have evolved into a sweet BMW 5 Series beater and they would have properly sold it all over the world plus maybe car based utes could have caught on better than they have. HOLDEN MALOOS FOR EVERYONE

You gotta boil down a car to its basic parts that don’t necessarily fit the market trends of the day. Imagine what that car would have evolved into if they kept using the nameplate.

Honestly if I was in the US (say if I could do work overseas after I start and complete my automotive apprenticeship) I would love to own a Suburban or a Tahoe and convert into a makeshift camper.

I think people tend to forget the Subaru was known for it’s weirdness. This is just Subaru harnessing the leftover Leone energy from the Impreza.

1. Compare crossovers to the Karen stereotype.

I think there needs to be a single cab variant especially for businesses that need a runaround for carry gardening supplies but don’t need the strength and carrying capacity of a BOF pickup truck (or utes as they are called here). Especially in urban environments if this truck proves to have better emissions and

I think they were trying to go for something like the 240z but it didn’t work out as well.

You could argue that the Supra is cheaper than its European counterpart and competitors. Don’t get me started on how it’s far better value than it’s near 30 year old predecessor, but that is to be expected.

The automatics in the E46 3 Series were quite good reliability wise if I’m not mistaken. It’s like the most reliable component in my shitbox 4 cylinder 3 series coupe. General Motors were pretty good at making automatic transmissions. well Rolls Royce used them back in the day so there’s that.

I would say manuals would be better in smaller sports cars and maybe trucks but anything where comfort is a major focus (luxury sedans/coupes, GT Cars, etc) an Automatic would be the best bet.

how the hell do I delete comments?

Then again they did have another period of WTF design with the Bangle butt trend yeah what was that about? the boots (trunks for you yanks) always look like they were taken from another car.
