I don’t remember what it was in VA when I was there, but in CA HOV-3 has exemptions for cars that come from the factory with only two seats (Miata, first-gen Insight, single cab pickups with center consoles...)

The most awesome thing is that this thing appears to sport a temporary California window tag.

If she needs an upscale car that could hold passengers for work, it’s very probable she’s a real estate agent. In which case, I think leasing is actually the assumption, but she’d get flamed out if she asked “$699/mo lease” as the pricing parameter.

Hate to disappoint you, but between the unequal housing lawsuits and the Central Park Five full page ad he’s always been a big racist even when he was nominally registered as a Democrat.

Isn’t the solution to have a multi-billion dollar charity with your last name first?

Is this not just simply a foreign-market Lexus GX with the USDM badges grafted back on? Am I missing something?

You marry the girlfriend first, then you kinda leave the back door open and some of the active cats get away (ones named Alfa, Romeo, and Maserati), outlive some of the sick cats (ones named Lancia and Chrysler), and then you’d have a wonderful wife and a few very cute cats (Ram, IVECO, FIAT, Dodge).

Yeah, HBCUs also do a pretty good job of trying to reach out and give scholarships to all the white people who want to go. A pretty good friend of mine got a full ride to an HBCU to hit on all the chicks (mission accomplished).

I don’t think they let Asian people into the KKK though.

I was like nice build! And then I thought about how the car is plated in CA, and went looking for the BAR golden ticket. And damn, that California plate is purely decorative. No BAR sticker, never passed smog as configured.

As far as the mansion goes, your analogy would only work if your $150k house is actually nicer than a $1.5 million mansion, but in this case it would only have a tax value of $150k; so you’d be pretty stupid to pass that up.

I got a 1000-foot commute, and no, I’m not in the military nor do I live on campus/on base.

Deportations are down 12% but arrests are up a third (1). So more people are abused but DHS but they are less successful in getting them actually deported so they languish in DHS prisons? It might be ineffective if the ultimate goal is to remove criminals, but it does terrorize far more people than the previous

Lyndon B. Johnson use to talk about his dick and whip it out. Kennedy was known to have multiple affairs as well as Bill Clinton.

So there’s the valid criticism that they could have bought a regular sized home for how much they’re spending on the tiny home. There’s also the valid criticism that they’re just putting an upper middle class sheen on trailer homes and appropriating it as their own. But what I can’t get behind is the classist attitude

Part of the arbitrary size cap is due to zoning regulations, like it’ll be illegal to straight up build a bungalow behind your parents’ McMansion (or putting a trailer on the property, even) but popping in a tiny home is fine because it’s too small to be counted as a dwelling.

Somehow this is not what I imagined a Bending Unit would look like.

The dust bowl won’t be great again. Because at least, back in the 30s, tough farmers moved to where the jobs are, instead of complaining about how government is screwing them, or isn’t helping them.

I suspect it’s actually a logistical issues to not put them in the Fiesta, as they want the squares to report the weed. Say you’re managing a global supply chain, would you prefer your lost shipment to be documented confiscated (with neither the sender nor recipient on the hook) or your lost shipment to be gone to the

I wonder what will be smuggled in when they are all made in China.
