I pay taxes every year on the estimated value of my house regardless of my income and irrespective of the fact that the value is based on money I’ve not collected (and may never) and isn’t limited to the estimated gains.

You already do this...the value of your home is “money that doesn’t exist” yet you get taxed yearly on it. The middle class already has this tax because most of their wealth is tied up in their homes. It’s about time billionaires pay this tax as well.
