Unpopular take: I preferred the sound of the old 993 GT2s to the na GT3s. The turbo flat 6 sounded smooth and velvety and came at a reasonable decibel level vs the screaming normally aspirated variety.

Can’t we all agree racing is really about danger? Let’s get rid of halos, fire suits and fuel bladders and make racing great again.
Yeah, that was impressive -- well done.
Stop trying to make Marco happen.
That was a classic.
The Nurburgring is definitely a specialist’s track — even among very top tier drivers. I don’t know how much practice time Ollie got, but, with that many corners, it makes a difference.
This is the golf cart Rodney Dangerfield would have driven if Bushwood had allowed carts.
Haha... I leave my doors open in hopes that someone *will* take something. Spoiler: there’s nothing but trash in there, this would be a service.
Still hurting from Daytona.
I don’t know... here we are talking about their ad.
The SS was definitely a desirable car at the time. Driving one now, you attract a near unlimited number of boomer dudes who want to tell you how hot that car was when they were in high school. Boomer dudes aren’t exactly my thing, but it is who I meet.
Amen, brother!
It’s weird, the car actually makes those guys look pretty small.
I don’t know if the Porsches had anything for the BMW in that last leg, but the 10 intramural passes for 2nd place between them certainly guaranteed 2nd was the best they were going to get. At least they didn’t crash into each other this year.
Yes, definitely too bad about GEAR!
Obviously, you haven’t tried it.
Yes, yes, and yes.
Will have to straight for the gas tank shot.
Yeah, it definitely doesn’t look like an SC. It’s a great looking car, but I think real SCs (including the US bumpers) look great, too.
Super stoked for Ricky. He rode a great, smart race and deserved the win.
