It’s all fun and games until Porsche comes along squashes it with vast cubic dollars and an army of nerds.  It sounds bad, but as a Porsche fan it’s actually my favorite part of the racing cycle.

The CART / F1 crossover is interesting. The cars seem different enough that someone that excelled at one discipline didn’t at the other. Bourdais and Zanardi were both magic in CART and disappointing in F1. In neither case, did they have great luck with their car, but it was still not what I expected.

The AMGs, other than the Black Series, perhaps, depreciate as if they’ve been dropped off a cliff anyway.  There’s no reason not to live life joyfully and drive them and street park them.  Sell it to Vroom in 2 years.
