The other side of this coin is that I pulled into a convenience store parking lot tonight and saw a new Camry that I thought looked really nice and I reflected on how far they’d come. Except, it turned out, it was a Lexus.

Yeah, that’s just science.
As long as no one is hurt, I’ll always find car hits hydrant wrecks hilarious. Up until it involves me, possibly, but even then...perhaps.
You’re so analytical. Sometimes you have to let art flow over you.
Bond can make a 2CV work in a pinch.
I’ve got to say this is far from worst case for having a strap break on Hellcat dyno run. Also, I’d suggest these guys start to replace their straps more frequently.
Safety third!
“I don’t know, it just went around on me.”
I’m a dedicated Porsche fan, but that’s a great looking race car. Looking forward to seeing it race.
Flare all the things!
The 2CV is one of the safest cars since...
The nismo.
That relatively recent Nissan prototype was the closest to that concept I remember.
Carlos should get on the program! What’s he been doing?
Owning several Porsches and a Tesla, there’s no question you’d take the Porsche over the Tesla once price is off the table. Unless, of course, you were the type of person who rebuilds transmissions in your sink, in which case you are operating completely on your own script ;-)
Yeah, that’s probably as close as anyone has gotten. And, when I had an RS4 with that high revving V8, I couldn’t stop thinking about how great it would be in a 911.
No one, including Porsche, has ever had a successful 911 fighting sports car.
A 1970 Barracuda is just not a safe car in any event -- modified or not -- compared to modern cars. It does, however, meet the standards prescribed by the law, so let’s move on. Suggesting that a legal road-going car needed to have racing harnesses and a roll cage installed is nuts.
Also, the car looks pretty slammed with the wider wheels and added flares. Points for style even if they couldn’t clear a speed bump.
