I guess that sounds about right. There are plenty people in jail for 16 or more years who never got to play billionaire, though.

Stereotypes exist for a reason. Usually that reason is racism, but I’m not sure if that applies here ;-)

“It might need a bit more maintenance”?

Vigo loves camping.

The blocks could take it, but I’m guessing you’ll need to upgrade the pistons, crank and con-rods to get a full lap in anger with this beast. Stock fuel pump probably flows a little low for 1,500 HP, too, I’d guess. But, yes, you should definitely do it.

Right? That thing’s got some juice. They should use this in an ad. The Dukes of Hazard wouldn’t have tried to clear that Hyundai.

Combining the competition success of the GT-R LM with the raw power of the Nissan Leaf has got to be the least compelling recipe for a race car I’ve ever heard. They should bring in Pastor Maldonado as a safety consultant to really cap off the brain trust.

This is a good time to be a race fan. A lot of series are running pretty well at the moment with plenty of corporate sponsorship money available to bankroll the whole thing. Also, between cable and streaming, I can’t remember a time when you could actually watch more racing than now. The fortunes of professional

No doubt. “Logic-Defying” pretty much applies to all aspects of Monster Jam.

Perhaps... either way, I would really prefer to *not* go 261 mph in a 1991 Nissan. It’s a cool car, though, and I hope it does well at the auction.

The only status I see you getting from buying a $750k Corvette Grand Sport is that of raging moron, but to each their own.

Please tell me that no one is going to buy one of these things at that price. I need to keep some faith in humanity.

Get a new car. I feel like every part of my ‘07 is on the verge of failing simultaneously and I need to sell it before it is obvious to everyone that it is more liability than asset. Either that or fix the 10 things that are currently wrong with it and hope (against all better judgment) that all the other parts are

Nice list. Kudos, especially, on starting off with the Chevelle ;-)

You’re probably right, but I always want *just a bit* more.

Except you have to pay for the bus. And, thank god, the bus can’t make you stop at the Disney store when you’re trying to get somewhere with your kids. Expect to see lots of homeless people idling through the Whole Foods Parking lot in free self-driving cars. Sounds great. Sounds like a glamorous future.

He should have bought an F1 team before his credit went bad. Vijay Mallya really knows how to run up a tab in style.

It’s a little sad. Building a Ferrari fighter with a front pushrod engine and leaf springs seems a lot more life-affirming than building a Ferrari fighter with a twin-turbo dohc engine and coilovers. I just hope they don’t class up the interior too much ;-)

Seems ok to me. He said it. Recognized that he shouldn’t have said. And then gave what appears to be a sincere apology that demonstrates an appreciation for what about his remark was wrong. I would describe this as better than average for Lewis. I’m sure his twitter mentions are fun to read, though.
