HIV doesn’t live long enough outside of a human host. The Zika virus does.

True, but missles and planes are “soft” targets. And 1-5 Gigawatts worth of heat energy is a lot for any target to contend with.

I wonder if one of these big CSP installations next to a city or military base could double as a missile defense system?

I came to say just this. Glad to see that someone else doesn’t buy into the hyperbole.

Remember when the Zip Drive was the thing but you wished you could afford the Jazz Drive? 100Mb and 1Gb disks! Bulk storage that was cheap and reliable. /s

Sorry, I speced the V3.

It’s ten actual cores, 20 with hyper-threading. This is basically the Xeon
E5 2690 processor but stripped of it’s server logic and clock unlocked.

I don’t feel bad for the guy at all.

Ah.... that nostalgic feeling.

Why Netflix or Amazon? How About HBO?

Yes, because no cop has ever run afoul of the blue code and been set up.

I’d give him the same chance as I would you.... none. I don’t know him, I don’t know you, so I wouldn’t let either of you have access.

I don’t assume anything with people being accused of a crime. There have been too many instances where innocent people have been assumed guilty of something. And the court of public opinion is especially fickle.

I would pay more for a two hour blu-ray of behind the scenes featurettes on how The Jungle Book was made than I would for the movie itself.... and I’m definitely getting the movie blu-ray on day one.

Prove that he’s a pedophile.

Trisolaris has obviously sent a sophon to mess with Earth. Time to set up the wallfacer project.

The new Roku 4 has HEVC (H.265) capability. Does anyone know if this stick can decode HEVC? I’ve looked around and I haven’t been able to find any data what codecs this new stick supports. I know it can’t do 4K. But I’ve been changing all my content over to HEVC for space savings and I’d like to be able to use this

The sticks can’t play local files but the Roku 3 & 4 can through USB or the MicroSD card slot. I think the Roku 2 can as well but I don’t own one so can’t say for sure.

Even if a law like this passes and companies comply the situation (where backdoors/golden key encryption exist) will only last for a short period of time. I give it about five years.
