So I’m the only one who finds this a bit creepy? Oh well.

Chancellor, I have only star to give you but it counts as a thousand.
a bigger version of your own capitalist cutthroatery comes into town, takes and controls all you hold dear, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
No offense to David Harbour, who may or may not be wonderful, as Hellboy or as any other character. But ... legend has it that Mignola and Del Toro, in early stages of talking about the movie, each wrote down who they thought should play Hellboy, and traded papers. And of course they’d both written Ron Perlman’s name.
I’m only peripherally aware of all the stuff the Thor comic has done the past, oh, 2 or 3 decades. But — Beta Ray Bill, dying-Jane-Foster-as-Thor.. that kinda thing could be cool to see in an MCU movie.
a scene in a Han Solo movie where they explain why his last name is “Solo”
It’s an established fact that if Captain Marvel had been a man, the movie would have made 36 billion dollars its first weekend! Established, I tell you!
I didn’t know that Road to El Dorado wasn’t well received. I caught up with it on video a year or so after it came out, and my kids and I watched it quite often. They’re grownups now but I saw it again just recently and it’s still a lot of fun.
One review I read of All This and World War II said that it was like when you get stoned and watch tv with the sound down. That is, sometimes the images seem like they match the music....
Schwarzenegger does indeed turn up in a cabin in the woods
It was brutal but I feel like JJL was having fun rolling around with the boys
Yeah, sorry, this is just crazy. I haven’t seen the movie, but if Sharon Tate doesn’t have many lines it doesn’t mean she doesn’t have enough lines. Robbie is actress enough to make the character shine even if it’s a cameo.
It’s not like Austin was declared expensive to live in yesterday. They clearly have not adapted to the times or just don’t have the customer base to stay open and running.
Remember, before the X-Men movie actually got made, Chris Claremont’s choice for Wolverine was Bob Hoskins.
“Under Pressure” by Queen/Bowie and I stated that when I was younger, I was a huge Queen fan and didn’t get the Bowie uproar in any sense.
Damn. So, I was watching Friends from College and liking it okay... and heard the second season was better so I figured I’d slog through it. Then I read your post and thought, oh DAMN was Happy Endings such a better show!
Okay but the box set of “I didn’t come here to make friends” will set you back about 5,000 bucks.
What’s more fun than going to Amoeba or someplace like it and going home with a bag of goodies that are yours to keep forever?
so I know I can have my favorite titles always available
Here we go as usual with my list of best Leonard adaptations (in no particular order): Jackie Brown, Get Shorty, Out of Sight and Justified. I haven’t seen Mr. Majestyk in decades so I’m due to check that out. The original 3:10 to Yuma is good as is the remake and I remember 52 Pick-up as pretty okay in an 80s action…
