Coming this summer to a theater near you, Tessa Thompson and Emma Thompson are... The Thompson Twins!
I’ve seen it twice, and really want to again. I liked it a lot first viewing, then loved it and noticed more cool stuff on the second.
It annoyed me that people felt the song choice was too on-the-nose and counted that as a strike against it.
the “getting up” montage were just the best thing.
The audience cheered when she ignored him. Perfect move.
She and Hank Pym are the leads in the movie, Scott Lang just got pulled into it
I still remember some video claiming C.M. would lose millions and it’d be Brie’s fault LOL
Ohh man The Langoliers, there’s a dreadful film
This movie looks... cheap.
On John from Cincinnati Kem Nunn was a co-creator. I’d known him only as a novelist. Tapping the Source was his first, a modern noir about surfers and bikers and Huntington Beach. I think I’d read all of his fiction, and when JfC came along and went away, I didn’t have access to the show, and didn’t know Nunn was…
I don’t want to oversell Corner Gas - maybe I already have. The show reminds me a bit of Green Acres but if that doesn’t appeal to you forget I said it. But yes, Eric Peterson is great in it, as is every cast member. Literally.

Possibly a lot of you know that, and I don’t even know why I decided to check it out, maybe someone on the AVC mentioned it. I’m in season 3 and each episode is at least…
This very sad news. I only recently watched all of Deadwood for the first time. It feels selfish to think “at least he got to finish the movie” but I am happy he got to do that.
This is the first I’ve seen of her show, but Busy is fBLEEPkin’ effortless at this. Damn!
“blow-up tanks, fake radio transmissions and noise machines to deceive the German forces, making them believe that, among other things, armies were in certain positions where, in actuality, no armies were even close.”
One of my favorite moments in this movie is when it is revealed that Scott is in fact The World’s Greatest Grandma.
Um, Hawkeye has two (three now).
I can’t stand how she always looks like she’s about to start crying.
