these bunnies were not hired for their looks.
It’s on Amazon Prime, in its entirety, it appears
Same with removing the awful scene in Dumbo
The book refers to Indians as “redskins”, as an English story-book reading child might do in 1910. There’s never, despite a couple scenes with Tiger Lily and her tribespeople, any point when they explain why they’re “red”.
I really can’t believe that many people had issues with a woman as president. It was just her
Pretty good ranking, guys. Me, I’d put the Hulk movie at the very bottom, but what the hell. Winter Soldier is a great one (and is one of the ones I watch most frequently), with a great blend of paranoid politics, great fight scenes, funny lines, and that list of Cap’s. (Plus - “on your left” - damn the last time…
I’m kinda tired of the Disney people, or anyone else, trying to sweep this movie under the rug. I’ve seen it, a few times. It’s pretty old fashioned and kinda clunky in its racial politics, but no more than many, many other movies that are readily available. For chrissake it’s not Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarves (whic…
Feige had the right idea and fortunately the ever-increasing box office receipts of the MCU. There are effects shots in the recent films that you know are fake but they just don’t look it (as opposed to some clunky stuff in Iron Man 2, to name an example). Feige and company know where to spend the money, and that…

I think Feige’s biggest achievement with the MCU is getting all of these huge stars and huge egos
I, um, really like this movie.
Every damn time I see or even think of this movie, I get a bit mad at whoever told Cumberbatch that Dr. Strange has to be American, or to have an American accent. Nothing in Marvel continuity says he has to even have been born in America, unless I’m missing something. If I am, nothing says he couldn’t have done years…
the first, Oscar-winning, Suicide Squad was a box office hit
I actually thought Howard was pretty good, but I certainly have no complaints about Cheadle, either.
I do like that end though with the cell phone being sent to Stark
I would love to know if the airport fight was influenced at all by a similar airport fight in 1986's Squadron Supreme #12.
I can’t remember when I realized that Zemo was listening to a recording, not a message (oops, that means I have to rewatch, oh darn) but that was a nice touch. MCU often gives us villains who have actual lives, or did have lives before they became villains.
One of the MCU’s greatest strengths is its casting
