Bless you for this.

The Brett Favre deal needs some historical context, in particular how much monthly data plans cost back in 1997. Plus: no unlimited anything or free nights and weekends. He needed every dime of that contract.

I didn’t see the game, but that must explain why they gave up 85 points in the second half: The Warriors looked three years old.

The Warriors gave up a 31-point lead?

“Not if use enough Donkey Sauce!”

Seems like there many, many better names for this. Like, almost anything else.

The Mirotic move was so good for them. I’m not sure when Brogdon’s coming back, but adding that piece makes them pretty unbeatable in the East. My only real point with Toronto is they’ve got 10 guys they can play together at any time and you won’t see too much drop off, even without their best player on the court.

I think Toronto can probably play deeper into its bench for extended minutes if need be, but the Bucks were the best team all year, and not just because of Giannis, but certainly because Bud knew how to maximize the players around his greatness. Tops in scoring, 10th in points allowed, third in FG%, first in OFG%,

(Before you add it, hit enter a couple times to create some blank lines. Then add the photo with a blank line below it. That’s always worked for me...)

It’s cute that he thinks he has dear friends.

He’s just not a good NBA coach. Because I live in Phoenix and I’m sure as shit not going to watch their games, I’m pretty much limited to those 6 p.m. starts, which is usually OKC, the Texas trio, and Denver. So I’ve seen them a lot. And a funny thing happens when OKC plays Dallas, in particular, but a number of other

Yeah, to me, this team taking twos is still better because of the offensive rebounds (and you can make a case that they’re so good at offensive rebounds because they’re so bad at shooting), and as you said that’s one of their strengths. Their best offense comes from transition and second-chance points. With threes,

It’s also where the threes are shot from and in what kind of possession that dooms them. Jerami Grant was I think a 29 percent shooter last year. Because he predominately took short corner threes this year, he improved his shooting by 10 percent, took more shots, and wound up top 30-35 in the league, better than PG.

Russ shot better than either McCollum or Lillard today, had fewer turnovers than Dame, and had more assists than both of them combined. The problem is a philosophy that says “keep shooting” and gets you Schroder and George going 4/22 from deep. Russ was 0/4, but that’s not really “running wild,” is it?

But also, a team that won 78 percent of its games when it took fewer than 30 three-point shots hoisted 33 and made five. So that’s 35 percent of their shots for 15 percent of their points. In a five-point loss. In a game in which they shot 52 percent from two and scored 74 points in the paint and from the line.

No idea. These videos are all several years old. He used to be a public defender in Salt Lake City and then on the weekends, he’d play this pizza joint for — from the sounds of it — a couple dozen people. He’s based in Denver now, and I think music is all he does. Most of it’s driven from his YouTube channel, as far

I believe it’s George Mikan.

There was a LOT of chirping to the refs in that game. Makes me glad we won’t have that problem today, with Boston, OKC, and Houston playing.

Such a fine album.

Mike Masse is incredible. This speaks to that as well as “Africa.”
