Employers should pay a living wage. They do not deserve to be in business if they do not. I would go back to how taxes were pre-Reagan when the rich and the corporations had to pay their fair share.  40 years of Neoliberalism/Neoconservatism has ravaged this county.

I support UBI and I think restrictive housing zoning should be banned. You should be able to put an apartment complex or mixed use development on any developable land.  Single family zoning is a classist idea.

You know you can have capitalism and social safety nets.  It is not a one or the other thing.

So I guess letting people rot on the streets, live with three other people in a studio apartment, or live out of a vehicle is a better solution. You know the US Constitution is a document that can be reformed and updated. Bringing up some ancient ass line from the Declaration of Independence does not stop reforms

I consider an apartment safe housing.  Single family housing is not possible in many places because of the scarcity of land in urban areas.

If the average studio apartment is $800 a month in my town, a minimum wage $8.25 is nowhere close to being a living a wage.  No one should have to work 60+ hours a week to afford a studio apartment.

Piss off.  Every American deserves a living a wage and safe housing.  It should be added into the constitution.

So when can I lease a Model 3?  The Leaf and Bolt I can lease right now.  It is dumb to buy an electric car since the technology is rapidly changing.

Why would people drive during a holiday when China has high-speed rail?

There are better automatics out there even in that class. A CVT is a huge downgrade.

I do not get why the turbo model has a CVT. If they want to compete with being a budget Audi or Volvo they need to just stick a regular torque converter automatic on the turbo model. What a deal killer for what looks like a competent AWD sedan.

Would it have killed Subaru to put a regular 8-speed automatic in the Turbo Legacy? That CVT is a deal breaker.

So the GLI has an independent rear suspension standard correct? Looks much better than the base model Jetta and those specs for a FWD car are nice.

It really needs a 2.0t and 8-speed auto as a mid-level engine option.

I feel so conflicted about this truck. I want something greener, but man that new Tacoma looks cool. I wish Toyota would offer it with some sort of plug-in hybrid set up.

No. Toyota/Lexus’s lineup is better than it has been in years. I still think we are heading towards a recession.

For that kind of money you could import one of these and still have enough money to buy a new Supra and a Landcruiser SUV as daily drivers. The MK4 Supra hype in America has become out of control. That is like hypercar money for a 25 year old Japanese Grand Tourer coupe. https://www.tradecarview.com/used_car/toyota/s

Challenger is a hot mess with handling the department. Supra is designed to carve corners. A Demon would be a mess on a race track or on a back road.

Except the new one probably gets 9 MPG more fuel economy on the Highway and 6 mpg in the city, has more torque lower in the rev range, less turbo lag, cleaner emissions, and still has more horsepower stock.
