This has always been the problem with the 8 series and the 6 series. The 911 always looms over it. And for the amount of money the M850i will cost the 911 would still be my choice.

Fiesta and Taurus did not make much sense to keep. I would have killed them in the US too. But Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai/Kia sell so many midsize and compact cars. Ford made some decent headway with outgoing Focus and Fusion. It just seems like they are giving their market share to the competitors in that

I guess Ford’s loss is Toyota’s, Honda’s, and Hyundai/Kia’s gain. I see a ton of brand new Civic sedans and hatchbacks and Corolla sedans so it looks like there still a market for them.

So what are they going to sell when fuel prices go up again, a recession hits, or a Democrat gets into office and pressures for more fuel efficient/lower emission vehicle? Relying on just trucks, SUVs, and Crossovers seems like a recipe for disaster. Hopefully the Focus and Fiesta are easy to federalize when they

Yeah I was guessing it was one of their cars.

I have seen a few RHD import cars in my town. A Galant VR-4, R32 Skyline GTR, and a Toyota Chaser. And then I have seen a R33 Skyline GTR which is technically not legal yet.

In 2023 you will be able to import a 1998 model legally.

1. The Porsche 996 Turbo because it is a Ferrari killer.

Alfa Romeo decided not to offer a manual Giulia in the US at the last minute.

You made the right decision on getting the Golf R.

I do not like corporate greed or Wallstreet but I do not feel bad for someone buying a $40k-$50k truck or SUV through financing it over 84 months. Sometimes people do have to take responsibility for their actions. Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla would do a majority of things people need for a fraction of the price.

Vehicles like the Mirage and Versa are affordable vehicles. The problem is people want to buy flashy crossovers and trucks with 20 inch wheels.

No one is holding a gun to your head to buy a loaded up car or truck. I worked at BMW dealership for a bit and I saw customers that would order just a base 320i with manual seats and halogen headlights.

Outside of the 4runner or Landcruiser which I will probably not be able to afford new anytime soon, I really do not get the point of all these large trucks and SUVs as daily drivers. They get bad gas mileage, are expensive to insurance, are not very safe, and suck offroad. I bet I carry more stuff in my 228i with my

Yeah bigger does not always mean safer. I never want to own anything larger than a 3 series because then it becomes tough to street park. I actually wish VW sold the Polo GTI here because that vehicle would be perfect for me.

I thought I was bad for doing a 60 month loan on a car. 84 months is insane. I plan on owning my car for 8-10 years and I am currently three years in.

Yeah the only FWD non performance coupe left is the Civic and I still see a lot of the new body style one. Everything else is dead. Living in a college town I see a lot FR-S’s and Genesis Coupes but those are much more specialized cars.

Cadillac was a mess from the 70's up until Bob Lutz started running GM. All of the Cadillacs that I have driven that were designed under the outgoing president of Cadillac were competent. I like the ATS I drove and the CT6 looks nice. Better than the old person mobiles they were making not to long ago.

Luckily for Toyota I am too short to fit properly in a Corvette so the Supra would be my pick for a sporty GT car. I cannot really afford $50-$60k car so hopefully Toyota has a good CPO program.

The third and fourth gen Supra’s were expensive high tech GT cars. Why would the firth gen Supra be any different?
