good and some people have to have nuts in every baked good and desert.

I am not allergic but I hate nut in deserts and baked goods. I am not sure why I think it goes back hundreds of years to holidays and nuts being rare and expensive. some people like the texture I guess.

My daughter’s fight club is called Rugby.

Been in a modern factory and talked to factory workers lately?

My conservative coworkers and acquaintances just keep saying if you cannot afford something like a car you should just get a better paying job.

Not everyone has a trade-in-able car.

I saw some wonderful winter tires in Iceland, like these 475/70-17 Nokians

They sound wonderful, as long as there are no nuts in them. Nuts in baked goods are a no go for me.

I would wheel the hell out of that for 1/3 the price.

we poors had big family cars from the late 60s early 70s and the rich kids in my high school, there were a lot, had new saabs, volvos and the like.

Just tossing this out: Next year the YOUNGEST boomers will be 60 years old. (The oldest 78) good riddance.

There is a joke floating in the aether about republicans, illiteracy and reading, but I cannot quite grasp it. Oh well, back to my books.

and they drive anyway.

Back in 1999 we bought a new hyundai accent for $10000 my cousin bought a used Malibu for $10000. The used car was a money pit and needed all kinds of very expensive repairs including a transmission. Our Accent needed nothing for the 11 years we owned it. If you are willing to have basic transportation, New sometimes

I have never even tried the autopark feature. Cruise only when driving across the great plains. Not a fan of steering wheel heater. Highbeams hardly ever.

I am an old, Those cars are so so much better than new cars of old and are fine for daily transpiration. If people want a hobby car/ weekend racer then they can spend more. Frills are not as important as reliable transportation for most.

yes! I would rather have stuff to watch that is new and not multiple streaming platforms full of stuff I already have seen. 8 good episodes then a 2 year wait is not enough.

Shows that spit out 8 episodes every 2 years are just not going to keep people hooked to these platforms, especially as prices keep escalating.”

I love pizza, I hate that where I live these monsters cut round pizza into squares. I just do not think I could pay $600 for my own backyard pizza oven.
