My family tries to do our best to blend in. stay and eat away from tourist areas and realize we are guests in their country. Yes American tourists have earned their reputations and other countries have bad tourists also. If you have been to Venice and you will know.

The xenophobia is out of hand in this country

Some small ancient Clark is way more fun than some nice newer Toyota.

Yes, I have spent time is several major European cities and found the public transportation vastly superior to anything here short of NY and DC and still better than NY and DC.

True but they are doing as they are told. In my town public transport is killed because the residents do not want “those people” taking public transport to “our” town.

Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is very bad stuff and very painful and debilitating. I hope she get relief and sues the hell out of everyone involved.

We need cars because we have such bad public transportation and we use the lack of public transportation for segregation.

I have done smokey burnouts on oil spills and had 4 people bouncing on the back for traction when overloading it moving heavy stuff. And if you mean 2 wheels, one front and one back , done.

Having done very dangerous things on and with forklifts when working in a used diesel engine remanufacture, back in my mid 20s, I think it no problem to make one slower.

I love this, not at that price, as someone that bombed down logging roads with a load of firewood in the Appalachians in the 1980's with my 1978 VW rabbit.

What % of bankruptcies are due to wages and not some other situation?

Well said. I have been union for 25 years and 6 of that a union steward and have talked to a lot of young men, filled with youthful overconfidence, that thought they could negotiate better than a union, did not need a union, Etc. When they saw first hand union protections from idiot, bad, bosses, they end up very

Shocking, 🤣. I am super pro driver aid tech, not yet pro driverless. I know it has to be developed and need to be out there in the real world, I just do not trust the tech bros doing it well.

Back in the mid 1990s I worked in a non union diesel enging remanufacturing factory. A few years eariler it was a union shop. The owners closed it and fired all but like 4 guys that they hired back and reopened as non union.

No idea, it was a sloppy mess.

The level of violence was staggering and to think that people were willing to be beaten to death for their union and their great grandchildren and grandchildren bad mouth unions because of some GOP propaganda crap stared by Regan and his minions.

Please research union history:

The craziness is that unions helped the earlier generations of southerners a lot https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/battle-blair-mountain-largest-labor-uprising-american-history-180978520/

Wow just wow, the 40 year war on unions have brainwashed so many into believing that collective bargaining is evil. Negating abuse by saying the abuse could be worse is not healthy. Unions gave us so much. Time to get them into more non union shops.
