My parents divorced when I was like 7 had and abusive stepfather for a while and did not see my dad from 11-18. everyday I raised my kid to be the exact opposite of what I experienced.

If you program people from birth to ignore evidence, facts, thinking for one’s self, and never question authority this is what you get. They love his authoritarian ways and think he will hasten the end of the world.

yes I am a mediocre man, yet all the time, I run into men that have 0 responsibilities at home, that act like the largest kid in the house and never help in any way and get a way with it. this pisses me off.

Thanks I was not trying to humble brag just being realistic. I has been very hard to be marred to someone that works over full time, 7pm to 730 am shifts 4-5+ days a week. Hard on her and her mind and body, hard on our relationship and hard on our kid but we did it.

Your comment cuts to close to the bone. I just replaced my jeep radiator and fixed 4 coolant leaks and air bubbles that had my JK overheating and I did not have heat for much of a MN winter. I tried, the dealer tried, and finally a mom and pop figured everything out.

I am married to and overnight er nurse. I have always done most to all of the dishes, cooking, cleaning, child raising, dog care, laundry,shopping, all of it. that is married to a nurse life.

No hunkering down, wife is ER nurse preparing to be stuck at work. kid traveling in the south on extended spring break.  My school still in session and we are planning for a few weeks of lessons to send with kids if we need to.

I married into giant family of North Dakota Norwegian Lutherans and this movie even spoke to us. Sometime good enough is good enough and you are correct, if a movie does not make $500 million the first weekend it is considered a failure.

cars of this era also sucked in ways other than engine and transmission. everything from lights to door locks to seat tracks to tailgate hinges they sucked all the way through.

I am old enough to remember these new also and how bad they were when new. I automatically get repulsed by cars of this era, I can fight it but loving cars and being old enough to remember the bad years is tough.
