It would have been cool if Porsche added the 904 into their regular line up. It would have made a cool Dino competitor (before the Dino existed). And we’d have a direct competitor to the 488 today.

It’s funny how Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini make money hand over fist, but Lotus has struggled for two decades to produce any profit. Maybe they need to stop “adding lightness” to their revenue ledger.

To this day I don’t think anyone’s made a supercar as elegant and pretty as the F1 (though I do like the front halves of the Carrera GT and 918). If they wanted to make a retro F1 (ala‘05 Ford GT) I’d be ok with that.
