Ah yes, a Volkswagen product. Known for their reliability and ease of maintenance.

Oh no -- you see, we have to keep coming up with solutions to problems that don’t exist.

This isn’t bad either. Ford has had these forever too. It’s nice to know that you can never be locked out of your car (as long as you know the code). I keep a spare key stashed in the car and don’t even use my fob half the time.

whats wrong w/that is that this idiot was already “earning” 10s of millions of dollars. He can pay his kids own damn tuition. When youre rich you get an astonishing amount of things for free. Its really uncanny.. But remember its the poors who should be scolded for “taking” entitlements.

Suppose you’re thinkin about a plate of shrimp

That’s a good point and something most people wouldn’t think about.

Come on you know what he’s, we all know what he’s saying.

Well considering we’re getting closer and closer to another financial collapse that’s projected to be worse than 2008 and considering that auto loan debt is growing non-stop right now,($1.13 Trillion active auto loan debt), I’d be willing to bet that correction will be coming sooner than later.

Honestly this goes for all classic cars, I get appreciation for a rare car cool but a car that was mass-produced and honestly isn’t that special doesn’t make sense.

I’d be really surprised if this was being bought for any reason other than the buyer expects the market to continue appreciating, and is now waiting to flip the car to someone else to net a return on investment.

Might take another 10-15 years but the old school American Iron is gonna get stupid cheap, or at least have a major correction.  Unfortunately, the scales seem to be tipping way in the wrong direction for cars that I’m more interested in from the 80s/90s, which majorly sucks balls.

Same thing with ford mustangs but for some reason people feel the need to spend six figures for one. A car is worth what someone is willing to pay for one. No one is asking blue collar folks to spend six figures on a car. Like others the new owner is hedging his/her bet that the value will continue to rise.

Can’t come up with 6 figures?

By analogy, today I can pick up a rare beanie baby for $5.

I say the same thing when trying to buy ANY USED Toyota with under 100k miles

My sentiments exactly. I was gonna come on here and say that it was clean and all, and blah blah, blah, etc, but you said it succinctly.

Oof if I could find a 71 SS with 4 on the floor for less than 30k I'd be so happy

i keep saying that about 60-70's challenger’s, camaro’s, and mustangs. but when you got money to burn, you can do whatever the fuck you want.

I will post mine from the other side of the equation.
