My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I bought it as a dealer demo in south Texas when I used to live down there, so it’s a 2WD model, and a fairly simple machine. As of yesterday, it had 358,529 miles on it, and I still drive it almost every day.

It’s also in very good shape, and I expect many more happy miles from it.

The

Oh, yeah, don’t get me wrong, this is very much like two guys sitting in a bar, shooting the shit, with the mugs making rings on the bartop.....

Regardless, I appreciate your insight to that. That’s kind of what I figured would likely be the case, but you never know. From someone in the industry that could have very

You may or may not be able to answer this, but what is an acceptable repair for this? Can you box it and re-weld it?

Or is this a situation where you have replace that girder, or the entire span?

Asking for me, because I fix cars, not bridges, and the torsional moments of a structural member like such fascinate me,

Without a doubt, my 1982 Pontiac Trans Am that I had in high school. 305 Cease Fire injection, white with a black stripe on the bottom, and the same seats as the Knight Rider car. It was a cool car, and we had nicknamed it NASA One for the paint job, and for other reason, hahahaahah.

Anyways, this car was paradise by

My F150 and my Mustang both have my phone paired to them. But it’s just standard Ford Sync in the F150, and a Pioneer head unit in the Mustang. All both really do is make and receive calls. No texting, no GPS, nothing really to store except my phone book. Some really provocative shit in there too....

Came here for this....seeing myself out, FULLY SATISFIED!

LOL!

OK, that might have come out wrong. I was agreeing with your assessment of automotive programming.

YOU don’t make me think of someone I hate, your assessment is an accurate representation of WHY I dislike that guy.

Lucky you, I have kept a list over all of these years....

I have bought 31 cars for a total outlay of $56,470.

I have sold all but 4 of these for a return of $43,834.

Difference is $12,636 - not too bad of a loss since getting the first car in 1990.

Now, if I were to sell the 4 cars I have today, I would make back

I read your reply, and immediately thought of Streetspeed 717.  I hate that fucking prick, by the way.

Oh yeah, I forgot about him.  I catch the Car Ninja’s channel here and there.  I’ll give him this - that guy’s about as cool as the other side of the pillow.  Never seems to get worked up, and that’s rare.

Throttle House, huh?  Never heard of it.  I’ll add ‘em to the list to scope out.  Thanks for the tip!

When faced with a situation like this, you have to go a little “Burn Notice” on the situation. If you KNOW you are being tracked and monitored, this is an opportunity to tie up a LOT of resources, and you can then also make the ones tracking you waste a lot of effort while you only go where you want them to see you

Thanks!  I’ll scope it out!

I have not!  What’s his channel name, I will certainly check it out!

I stick exclusively to Youtube for my car content. Below are some of the ones I stick to, and a brief thought about what they are/my opinion of them.

1. South Main Auto Repair - as a shop owner, I rather enjoy his methodical diagnostic fashion, and his sense of humor. Watching him diagnose usually gives good insight

Standard 6 Speed,

First off, let me thank you once more for a well crafted reply. Now, bear with me here, because I’m going to ask some questions within....

How is my not wanting to be hassled by external stimuli considered privileged? I don’t quite get that end of it. Help me out with that one.

Now, when I said I

Great reply!  Going to take me a while to reply to it, and I fully intend to later this evening.

Inconvenience your legislators, not people trying to work and simply go about their day.

I didn’t say that - you did. In fact, I even stated that I would not do that.

Standing in the road is a death sentence for anyone.  This is why we have sidewalks.

Thanks, man. The sad thing is, I’m not really trying to take a right or left view. I’m just trying to state that plugging the road is bad, and not just for my sake.

I also knew I’d be shit on, and rather heavily at that.  It’s OK.  The voice of dissent usually doesn’t garner many followers.
