I think I remember flipping out about this when my GF had me watch Bridesmaids.

It looks like an overstuffed KU Jayhawk.
I’m always caught off by logic of people who think wagons are uncool, but somehow CUVs are. I find most CUVs to just look like bloated dorky blobs due to their inherent proportions. While wagons, at least modern ones, by nature of being lower tend to look sleeker and sportier. Although modern wagons are pretty rare…
I don’t think their issues is actually keeping the lights on. While the tariffs hit their profits, I’m pretty sure they still operate with a profit. I think their entire financial woes are summed up as Shareholders. Shareholders who want a car company to apparently do something other than build cars at a profit?
I think this might be interesting if I didn’t already have a working PS2 hooked up to my TV. And with local game stores selling lots of PS1/2 games really cheap, I might as well just have the real thing.
This makes me really happy to know that we (Kansans) upset her.
Perhaps some of what makes it feel great doesn’t transfer well to PC? Idk which system Levarien played on obviously, but I played D1 on Xbox and it was every bit as sharp and punchy as any Halo game (which felt perfect on console as well).
I’ll never forget seeing a black regular SLRone of these next to me at a two-lane left turn. I glanced over and noticed the McLaren badge on the fender, and immediately my jaw actually dropped as I started slowly turning my head to look at the rest of it. The driver saw me. When the light changes the driver gives it…
I’m all about that ashes sent to space thing! Watching the price to space slowly drop is making me hopeful.
The car my parents got for my brother and I to learn on was an ‘89 4cyl mustang. Didn’t really get the crash safety thing, but it was definitely slow and taught us how to drive manual. 89hp in a mustang isn’t even enough to get it up to 90mph.
Yeahhh these things are the most common spider in my apartment. Hoorrayyy. At least my cats seem adept at killing spiders.
Yeah that line stuck out to me too. A case can technically be made for the economy doing “well”, but it sure isn’t helping the majority of people.
It’s not the thrust, but the shaft power of the turbine/compressor shaft. Same set-up natural gas power plants use. The engine will be designed for creating more shaft power instead of exhaust velocity (although some design elements will of course overlap on those results).
This car looks and sounds like it’s absolutely hilarious. While I can be all “purist” about it having the drive wheels at the wrong end, and no manual, I’m also glad that it exists in this state. It’s like it has doubled down on what makes sedans better than crossovers: they’re actually fun.
I’ve found that there’s also a big difference in hearing a recording versus seeing it in person. Without pretty serious audio equipment (both for recording and playback) a lot of the effect can be lost just because a symphony is so big with so many different tones and sounds going at once.
So if hot dog = taco = sandwich, and both sandwiches and hot dogs use buns... Does that make a tortilla a bun, and therefore Taco Bell’s slogan “Think outside the bun” was completely misguided?!
I want to buy a new car, and have wanted to for years. Finances and everything allow it. But I am struggling to wrap my head around having a loan again. Even if it’s well within my affordability I hate the idea of increasing my monthly expenses and lowering my savings rate.
Although if I step foot in a dealership I…
This guy’s brother must live near me. There’s 3 of these all parked at one house right by where I work. It took me weeks before I noticed the trident on them indicating that they’re special.
I think the advancement between WoD, Legion, and BFA is more of how they refine those systems. A lot of those similarities are there because they’ve worked well, and people liked a lot of them. But of course they had problems so they tweak them a bit.
I feel like I’m probably one of the “try-hards” that people seem to be afraid of upsetting.
