Why is it “millennial pink” when I’m pretty sure this is the exact shade of every bathroom that hasn’t been renovated since the 50's?

I have never, ever, ever heard nice gossip about Reese Witherspoon. I imagine her to be the mean girl of my nightmares.

Anyone that has a kid that isn’t well represented in the historical series (ie a non white kid) sees the value in the “Truly Me”. It’s really important for girls (and boys) to have access to dolls other than “California blonde”. I make sure that my kids have baby dolls and fashion dolls of a variety of ethnicities.

I too have not been to the Abbey in years but it was always fun. I also thought it was really laid back and not exactly scene-y, is this hot hot hot incarnation fairly new? Or as a non-Angeleno was I just completely oblivious to the scorn heaped upon my non-fabulous self when my back was turned?

While I enjoy some of the visuals and usually call her Lisa Frank on stage (because her Super Bowl half time show was the best), I agree. What I wouldn’t give for an album songs like “Circle The Drain.” One listen to that and it was like “Yeah she was listen to angry 90s chick rock too when her religious parents…

I don’t even need something revolutionary, I just want something fun. I would happily buy Teenage Dream or Prism part 2. I want to enjoy listening. Chained to the rhythm just wasn’t enjoyable. It’s not that I heard it before, it’s that I don’t want to hear it again.  

Katy Perry’s career is based on pop hooks. Same with Lady Gaga. Songs that get stuck in your head even if you actively hate them. The singles off of their new albums don’t have pop hooks, and it’s reflected in their popularity.

I am also over 30 and watching this. It is my long-sought replacement for Gossip Girl, which was my replacement for The OC. It’s super interesting to see the main characters as kids and see their mistakes as a result of their inexperience. I also enjoy judging their awful parents.

Chained to the Rhythm is just so aggressively bad. I don’t enjoy much of what is on the radio, but that was SO bad i just paused and stared into space in wonder at how bad it was.
