I have some pissed off friends who voted for Trump and aren’t very impressed by his attention to the wildfires right now (or lack of attention). They are also getting increasingly worried about trade. That’s what you get for being a one issue voter and not worrying about your job as the priority.

My personal reactions to this:

Probably sooner than you think. I JUST heard a report on NPR where they interviewed a farmer who is hoping Trump stops Tweeting long enough to help them after the wildfires destroyed their lands. I think their asking for help will soon turn to the regret you mention.

I predict the “Farmers for Trump” contingent will regret this choice sooner than later when they’re unable to find hard working ‘Murricans to harvest their crops.
