I understand schools would ask kids to turn off their phones and not put them in their storage lockers (assuming every kid has a storage locker at their school), but to ban phones (even the ones turned off) from the entire buildings seems plain ridiculous to me.

I totally agree. Firefox Mobile has an unmatched UI for browsing on a tablet, and is definitely my favorite browser for Android.

Maybe I would if I won the lottery... Until then, no thanks.

I did see it in that episode. I've also seen it on an Android game, but considering the Futurama transcript claims to originate from 2002 Futurama was probably first. Thanks!

You forgot they also have to reconfooble the energymotron.

Ok. My bad then.

Tell us something we didn't know.

"Compatible with any 120v wall outlet"

I don't know exactly what this negative energy is because I only read about the hypothesis in the science pages of a newspaper aimed at the general public. I do however know from quantum mechanics that electrons in an atom usually occupy some negative energy level, though I don't think this negative binding energy is

Actually the word "cracker" is the right turn since these people use hacking skills for evil /criminal purposes. The word hacker is used for people using hacking skills in general, and a lot of non-evil hackers hate when crackers are being caled hackers thereby giving the word hacker a negative undertone.

Here in the Netherlands we have a show whose title translates "the best idea of the Netherlands". It is quite similar except the product doesn't neccessarily have to be tech-related, and are rarely to never high-tech to the point where the layman can't judge it. I believe it's quite a popular show.

There is only a finite amount of energy in the universe. Let's assume we can convert all that energy into heat and concentrate it into the smallest amount of space in which heat can be concentrated. If this is amount of space is infinitely small there will be infinite temperature. If this space does have dimensions (a

I never keep any app shortcuts on my desktop, though mostly because this is default behaviour of most (if not all) Linux desktop environments. Plus, the favorites section of MintMenu works awesome (the rest of MintMenu is just as awesome btw) and keeps all my apps I expect to regularly use just two clicks away at all

I think a live watcher should not aim spoilers at someone who has not seen it yet through one-on-one communications. They should however be allowed to do public communications about it (provided someone who HAS seen it might somehow benefit from or appreciate those communications, no matter how small that benefit or

I agree, once there is a suspicion that the laptop is stolen it might already be too late to start tracking it, and therefore it has to be tracked all the time.

Ok if you leave the validity of the patents out of this then Apple is indeed the least evil, I give you that. And admittedly I was slightly trolling in my first post, though still both Apple's and Samsung's moves fit my personal and highly subjective idea of patent trolling. Let's just leave it at this because

That would be me :)

This has been the most basic and elementary clock design for as long as I have lived, and probably much longer... How can something so elementary be copyrighted?
