It’s a real shame that nobody wanted to build it, because it’s such an unconventionally appealing concept. Hell, despite the tiny width, puny engine and tall height, it even handled pretty well...

Autocar seemed to like it when they drove a prototype, and I for one would relish the chance to try one for myself too. You

I’ve loved cars since literally before I can remember. No Eureka moment or amazing memory; cars have just been a part of me my entire existence. This is all the more weird because unlike everyone else here, I’m probably an anomaly:

Pffft. Rally drivers laugh in the face of such adversity. The amazing thing is that Markko Martin here lost only 6 seconds in the stage and went on to win the rally!

What about those who modify their cars and swap out their steering wheels for racing ones? I don’t know about where you live, but based on how common it is I’d say that it’s a legal mod in most places in the world.

Wouldn’t it be better at this stage for owners just to disconnect the airbags, rather than risk it blowing up in their face? Because who knows when you’ll actually be able to have your recalled unit swapped out or repaired...

I don’t think it’s so much the IRS as it is the fact that the steering wheel is finally on the correct bloody side.

I’m rather disappointed by the distinct lack of audience participation...

My dad bought our current minivan, a Mitsubishi Grandis, in 2006. I was 14 at the time, and mid-puberty me thought a minivan was a deeply uncool car, because Clarkson said so.

Ok, so obviously showboating and trying to hang the tail out is one of the cardinal sins of C&C, but where do you guys stand on simple hard acceleration, in order to let others appreciate that lovely exhaust note?

What about taking the family minivan (and getting it completely crossed up) to a kart track for a time attack event? :D

Seeing stuff like this is why I’d be terrified of even learning to ride without some proper leathers:

Ah, well, I’m not familiar with US laws pertaining to the searching of one’s vehicle. Here in Singapore customs laws usually involves a cursory boot/trunk check, and occasionally the officer will instruct you to open up your glovebox or other storage compartments in the interior as well. Not sure if all that’s 100%

Personal experience: My dad’s Mitsubishi Grandis. The passenger seat lifts up to reveal a double-decker storage compartment:

Clearly they now know exactly where to look in one of these if someone’s been caught before.

To be fair, it did look like he was shooting to try and disable the car, not so much to take out the driver.

Put that drivetrain into this baby and we’ll have the coolest rally raid car ever

Who cares though, when they look so right?

These flares need to be standard on all Challengers from now on. Hnnnnnnggggg...

Still can’t beat this for stupid though

And he did this all in his mid-20s. I feel so useless right now. :(
