I’m ashamed I remembered the Dancing Ito’s immediately…

This wasn’t even the worst part.

also appeared to exhibit some slowdown during cutscenes

Don’t act like you never used Sgt Jamjars’ blessed zoomed-in first person view to stare at Humba Wumba’s giant jubba jubbas

I was a tester on Max Payne 3 and in early days of development, that was the model that was used until they put old fat Max in - so many good bug videos were captured with that “ruptured anus” face xD

No.

Is there a real market for this kind of thing, for classic, important games getting the Criterion Collection treatment?

It’d be a better gaming community if some people could remove their dick from their anime body pillows and maybe touch a little grass on occasion. It’s nice and soft (the grass, I mean), I swear, it’s a healthy thing to do on occasion!

I watched this at the Tribeca Film Festival. It was 100% vapid fan service. More than 50% of the 60 minute documentary was just talking heads (George Miller, Grimes, Guillermo Del Toro, Geoff Keighley, and some rando that i don’t know) all praising his work. Norman Reedus mentions Death Stranding’s plot confused him.

Not exactly a documentary, but Youtuber Thorinhighheels did a pretty great retrospective series on the Metal Gear franchise that serves less as mythologizing Kojima, and more about putting the focus on the variety of people who worked with Kojima who also had a hand in making the franchise what it is today.

Fans are weird sometimes.

So they can create another version of the game a year down the road.

It seems that the only reason Insomniac can play coy about this is because most people don’t finish AAA open-world video games.
