We’ve all had plenty of time to make peace with the fact that Silent Hill will never again recapture the feeling that the original PS1/2 games did. Anyone trying to write anything for the franchise does not understand the importance of silence, isolation, and subtlety, and abstract. Kojima and del Toro looked like

Get outta here, Loch Ness Monster!

How much money are you willing to spend on a bunch of digital ships usable only in an unfinished space game ?

If you worked as a tradesman for example (e.g. electrician or plumber) and your employer brought you on board because Wal-Mart made a contract with your employer.

They’re protesting the cunts who fucked them over.

Competitive Smash players found the right ruleset to turn their community into the longest lasting, most impressive grassroots FGC to date.

You’re an idiot. It has more to do with the fact that the optics around that franchise has become so bad, so notoriously toxic that Nintendo doesn’t want to be attatched to it.

Now playing

Portable Nintendo Entertainment System. PNES.

As the owner of both a Wii U and a Vita, I have no regrets about buying either one. Are they the best systems? No. Did I get my money’s worth out of them? Absolutely.

“childbearing age”

Lots of jobs hire “contractors” so they don’t have to pay them full time wages, when they absolutely do full time work.

Contract positions are the most perilous in the industry. I’d never accept a contract job anymore. Only people new to the industry take those sorts of jobs.

As much as it was my childhood dream to work for a video game company, more and more I’m glad I went a different route because damn, what a shaky industry to work for. You have to basically be Shigeru Miyamoto to ever be fully confident that your job is indefinitely secure.

I’m ok with it. I think MGS1 at 60fps might be a vomit comet on a big screen.

I doubt he relished the prospect.

Now it's Ronald Ketchup's time to shine

Makes sense. Time to retire before he ends up fired down the line when Epic decides someone else can Cut The Mustard.

I like this because it opens up the setting and adds more chaos.
