Just checking out the Dandy Detroit website, and realized I’ve seen this dude around Eastern Market when he did one of his photo shoots.

All the old cars are like that. They are all either junk or people think they are worth a fortune. Not much in between.
I am not sure what happened in the past few years, but all the decent cars are gone. All that is left is junk or really nice but pricey cars. Everytime I look I am reminded of this.
Bingo. I think the Escape changeover was in December, but that doesn’t make for a sensational story.
I had a 2019 Frontier Pro4X as a rental a couple years ago and I really like it. The interior plastics were pretty bad, but at the right price I would drive it.
I like it. I haven’t touched any of the interior plastics yet though....
Have you seen how many of his rockets/satellites have exploded? Not exactly the best comparison there.
I have worked in vehicle recalls for a manufacturer, and there are different types of recalls. NHTSA is only concerned with safety and compliance recalls, and EPA/CARB is concerned with emissions recalls. Any other recalls are optional at the discretion of the automaker. They can handle these either by telling the…
I am not a fan of the dash swap. Prefer the resto mods that keep it looking old, but put in a hidden modern stereo, A/C, and improved seats.
My employer insurance is free to me, but there is a $7k deductible that i have to meet before they cover anything. Its great in years when we are healthy, but when your spouse gets a cancer diagnosis you have a $7k bill immediately.
I think Bernie’s plan would be $5k in taxes per person to cover insurance.
TL,DR: His employees would make more money if he didnt have to supply insurance
America is a scam. Took me into my mid-30s to realize that we are all being gaslighted into believing how great it is here.
I have had Amazon drivers cut completely across my lawn, take out landscaping and plow stakes, walk through my flower beds, and drive through my neighborhood at 20mph over the posted speed.
The issue I have with this is that the damage has already been done decades ago. I dont see how the removal of a freeway at this point is going to do anything with invigorating a minority neighborhood. The people there have no money as it is, so its either going to be a new gentrified neighborhood or a big piece of…
My dad was a teamster that drove for a beer distributor and while he didnt have camera surveillance, they were responsible to pay for any losses or discrepancies in inventory. He also made more than double what an Amazon driver made and he retired 10 years ago
I see both arguments on this, and really neither side has a great one. On one hand, Amazon is a shitty employer that really does not pay what they could/should. But despite that, ultimately its in the public’s as well as their own best interest to monitor drivers for unsafe behaviors.
I sold my NA Miata after about a year and a half of ownership. I grew up with V8 American cars, and got caught up in the hype. They are amazing track cars and handle great, but god are they slow. I have been looking at C4/C5 corvettes since I can get some decent sports car handling but have a little bit of torque…
I think I would prefer the L98 due to the better aftermarket support, but I prefer the 1991 body facelift over this, so I am with you, $5k NP all day, kinda meh at the current price.
I don’t think anything made 350 HP in 1990 lol, but in all seriousness, per the Wikipedia machine a 1990 Corvette has 245HP. The Camaro/Firebird was 240HP that year, which is where I got my number from.
