Good story! Hope this can make it to Radwood Detroit, it would definitely fit in!
I know right?
I just went through my pantry last weekend and basically tossed all of the old cooking liquids that I seem to have had forever. It was sparked when I tried to make BBQ sauce with some apple cider vinegar that was several years old, and the smell that took over my house had me nearly dry-heaving. I learned that while…
Looked like a picture of White Castle burgers, which is what we have up here in the great north. I would totally do all you can eat for $6, since I do not think I would actually gain any extra weight out of the deal.
My 4 years of coaching T-ball though first year of kid pitch, we had a couple rules:
I mean, you could always get an old Miata too. I bought a 1990 Miata last year, and honestly, other than revving to the moon, the feeling I get driving it mirrors what the author was conveying. Plus with the added benefit of being *able* to drive on the interstate and having fuel injection so it starts a bit…
2nd Gear: For a couple of years one of my jobs was working in RF certification, mainly managing the regulatory side of ensuring that our suppliers properly certified all of our key fobs, radars, transmitters, etc. for all sales markets and products.
Sorry, I forgot my ‘sarcastic asshole’ disclaimer. Its all good!
I had a buddy in high school that had a 1994 EX, and I just remember it being a nice car. My parents always had domestic junk, and back then Honda’s still felt kinda exotic to me.
Cancelled in 1987. Hell they didnt even make a Comanche after 1992.
My second favorite generation of the Accord. I think the 4th gen was peak Accord, but these are pretty sweet in their own right, especially as a hatch.
The auto trans kind of takes away from it, but it is a clean survivor of a car I never see on the road anymore, at least not out here in the rust belt.
I didn’t know they made a Ram 1500 diesel back in 2000?!?!? Surprised I didn’t know about this when I was working on the 2014-2016 1500 diesel.
In the past 10 years I have owned a GMC, a RAM, and 2 Fords, and the GM was by far my least favorite. And I think they have gotten worse looking since the one I had (2012), so it would be tough to buy another. I really liked my Ram a lot, and I probably would have gotten one of the new ones this time around, but I…
Dude! Pages and pages of Miata guys putting interior jeweler in their $3k NAs.
Sadly, I did not find anything, and thus, I will have to wait another day until I tow with the Ranger.
I just bought a 2019 2.7L and driving probably 60% city 40% Highway I get almost 19 MPG, and it has not even broken in yet.
These trucks are really cool, but they are not really all that enjoyable to drive. 1st gear is a creeper, and the ratio change to 2nd makes for an awkward short shift before ending right up in 3rd. I used to either start in 2nd or start in 1st and skip to 3rd when I drove these.
Exactly. My parents bought a new 1987 Olds Cutlass Ciera in 2918 for $12,000. Inflation puts that at a $27,000 car today. You can get an equivalent vehicle for that price today.
Ha! Its always Molson or Labatt in the locker room after the games.
