It’s not on the road. It’s been parked since he discovered a problem with it other than getting it to the hotel parking lot. He’s about to install new parts. Do you know how fixing things works?

Nah, he’d still use them for dishes.
Please tell me he was caught after you blinded him. I’m amazed and glad you had the wherewithal to go for his eyes. I guess that’s the sort of thing that’s easier to do when you’re actually being attacked.
ma’am*
Most of these reviews are done by people who have never driven on a road that actually required four wheel drive though.
This is a really excellent response!
It’s true, but at the same time I’ve landed on the side of “it’s worth it to drive something that makes me happy.” I also think some other dangerous things are worth it, it’s why I do things like camp in remote places by myself. I’m cautious, but still do these things. I’ve owned and driven my Falcon for ten years…
I say this as someone who daily drives an old car, many accidents are unavoidable by at least one party involved. You can be a good driver, that doesn’t mean you wont get hurt.
Depends on the generation of Ranchero. The generation shown above is just a Fairlane wagon with the top cut off, then from 60-66 they were just a Falcon wagon with the top cut off. They were a Torino or something like that next.
How is this more boring than any other restoration series, where they throw limitless amounts of money at a car until it’s good enough to drive around the block once and then park in a rich guy’s garage?
The area you’re referring to as “downtown” is basically the entire city of Denver. Everything outside of that area is other towns and the suburbs.
That’s a fucking terrible solution because it just punishes people who live near the highway and have to use it. And we have to use it, because there are no good alternatives, not even a road in its place with stoplights would work, because I-70 is almost always used for long drives, not short hops.
What car is this?
Yeah I’m thinking this will me more of an “old Tacoma” situation. The new ones are different enough that the old ones will hold their value.
I was thinking the same thing. This truck has been unchanged for so long that 5 years ago it just looked old and outdated, but now it’s so old that it’s coming around again. Honestly it’s a pretty timeless and handsome design.
I shortened the story for brevity. Longer story is that they got mad at me and said I was a “fucking stupid white guy” when I said “HEY, don’t do that!” as I saw what the mom and kids were about to do. Then a minute later when I took a picture of the scenic overlook (because it was... scenic) they thought I took a…
No that was totally normal behavior for San Franciscans in my experience from having lived across the bay in Oakland for 5 years. I never got used to seeing wealthy tech people sitting on blankets in parks, drinking wine and discussing various high dollar amount things, while unfazed that 10 feet away was a homeless…
Found the guy with no eyeballs.
