Although I see those a barriers for the idiot populace; I still think Warren can win.  Because we need to turn out the base and excite the base.  She does that better than Biden.

Yeah, one of the things that I associate with her is a genuine warmth. I think she has that uplifting quality that can inspire, as well as a real focus on the fact there is a real battle to be fought. Read more

As a gay white male myself I find Pete Buttieieg incredibly frustrating. He seems almost as conservative as Biden, and Biden could indeed have run as a Republican (up until 2012 at least - the GOP is now truly nutso white supremacist). In some whays I am excited that a gay male can be taken seriously as a candidate Read more

Thank you. To me, Warren is serving rather mild mannered cool auntie energy. “Angry” is the opposite of how I perceive her personality. I’m perplexed that someone even thought of this.

It really seems like all the knives came out for Warren at the same time. The plutocrats (Hi, Michael Bloomberg!), the techies (Suddenly a thousand Washington Post op-eds think ACA is as much reform as we will ever need), and the “moderates” (because the Republicans only ever elect middle-of-the-road candidates). Fuuuuuuuuuuuck Mayor Pete. His comments about her in this article make fire shoot out of my eyes.

She honestly comes off like a “happy warrior” to me. Anyone distilling her down to “angry” is either being disingenous, or they’ve never actually paid attention to one of her rallies. She is VERY hopeful about the things we can accomplish as a nation if we dream big.

So, this isn’t a “new” version of her. She hasn’t changed; you have.

A Democratic candidate that isn’t angry is either fine with the status quo or not paying attention. We don’t need either.

I spent the morning sitting in an ER waiting room (fortunately everything’s fine now), and there was a TV playing CNBC right above me. Everybody kept going back to Warren and (to a lesser extent) Sanders and the “War on Wealth.” Read more

I don't even think she comes off particularly angry!  She is emphatic and uncompromising but seems optimistic and energetic to me.  Angry is not a word i would have come up with for her at all.

This.  If you’re not angry, you’re not paying attention.

I didn’t start off too hot on Warren, but goddam if this passionate version isn’t something to go for.

If you’re not angry these days you must be dead.
