Also he says it’s in rough shape, but this car is very close to 50 years old at this point. It looks like it’s in excellent shape to me.

I ended up with an entire Illinois family pouring out of a pickup to threaten me when I pretty-politely told them to not scribble their names on a rock with lipstick at a scenic overlook in Utah.

How about both. We try to encourage people to use these places responsibly, and until that works I will continue to avoid naming any places I know of that are quiet and relatively safe from social media hoards.

That sounds more like the SF I know.

I’m similarly bi-transported.

That’s fine. I do that all the time with articles from like 2011. Also I’m still excited about the Roxor haha.

I wonder if the lack of depth perception in backup cameras is why I see so much of the “roll, stop, roll, stop, roll, stop, roll, stop, roll, stop, roll” approach to backing up these days.

Are you really “FAKE NEWS”ing the fact that dealers saw a pre-production model (pre-production, not concept) and it had a removable top and doors? Ford wouldn’t make that huge of a design change this late in the game, at this point they’re ironing out flaws and how to manufacture it.

Stop being an asshole for absolutely no reason. Some people prefer to drive different cars for different reasons, just accept that and don’t shit a brick when confronted with it.

It’s impossible for me to take you seriously if you think that AWD = never sliding in snowy or icy conditions.

As I’ve said every time I see this video posted, the 1959 Chevy was unsafe by 1959's standards. Its “X-frame” was known to crumple in accidents. I’m not saying any car from 1959 would be considered “safe” compared to a 2009 car, but a different car from 1959 might have fared a lot better.

I’m just going to copy and paste most of the other comment I made:

There are reasons to want to drive a manual vehicle other than “SPORTSCAR!!!” you know. I prefer any vehicle as a manual, because I like being in constant control for the amount of mountain and snow driving I do.

This is from an article here a few days ago. People who have seen it said it has a removable top and doors.

There, I either fixed it or made it worse by adding a little beltline “hip” like a lot of cars from the ‘60s had.

I’ve never really paid attention to them before, but that Accord is actually a really good looking car. I mean, it still has the weird mid-body beltline bloat, but all new cars have that.

A friend of mine went through months of effort trying to learn German for a trip to Germany. When he got there he had to keep asking people to speak to him in German because they’d all switch to English when they heard his accent haha.

I think you don’t have a very good understanding of the geography of the United States if you were expecting something other than -flat- in Iowa. Likewise, if you went through all of the prettiest parts of the country at night, that doesn’t meant it was any less scenic than advertised, you just went through with your

Ray only said that Tom hated cars recently. Tom died in 2014, and they had stopped making new shows long before that. I haven’t heard a rerun of them on the radio for at least a year now. What current syndication deal are you thinking of exactly?

Cars really did come in way more colors then though. I took a second to badly color correct the lead photo a bit, and you can see a lot more colors pop out. I’ll also attach the swatches for 1970 Ford trucks alone.
