And I appreciate the air-quotes on “objective” there because lately the Right thinks that means their lies need to be given equal time with the truth. And it’s not our fault Trump can’t open his mouth without lying.

I’m up in Canada and I can say there is plenty of nervousness here about what’s to come for the US.  Unfortunately we are tied to the US in more ways than we care to admit and will ultimately suffer right along side you as Captain Creamsicle does his worst impression of a president.  This will be a long 4 years ahead

Same. Since November I’ve done everything I can to avoid watching the news as well as being more selective about what I read, simply for my own mental health.

Can I say how much I appreciate the take on these news stories - you’re not trying to be “objective” or “non-political” because no one can afford to be at this point. Keep calling out the bullshit, and don’t let the idiots off easy.

I might order some of those delightful “I did that!” stickers that those motherfuckers found so fun in 2021, with Trump’s face this time.

The biggest problem with that is the people who wanted this are too stupid to know why things are more expensive. They’ll be blaming Biden/Dems for the next 4 years for anything that goes wrong while praising Trump for anything that goes well in their life. Any real correlation or causation will be completely ignored.

Just wait until Canada cuts off oil exports to the US and the price of gas jumps a dollar or two.  Try explaining to your uncle that he voted for that.

The US is the largest consumer country in the world. Any tariffs, either set by the US or another country, negatively affects the US a lot more than the other country.

I can’t wait for the tariffs. The fuckers that voted for him deserve it.

This is the first time I’ve woken up as an American and genuinely not felt safe. And to all the people who chose this? Fuck you and I hope they come for your family first.

I was going to buy an Interceptor but then I ran into a barely used z900rs for the same price. As a former 1978 z1000 owner it was the one .....

I believe the phrase used by some actual genius at SpaceX was “rapid unscheduled disassembly” which is the kind of snarky shit that makes me laugh.

The driver was right.

MEEEEEEEEEE!!! Hi, my name is Kate and I'm a chromeaholic. After grazing the boofay I like to burn off a couple of calories and get in a cardio workout by walking very slowly down the chrome aisles in whatever truckstop I happened to stop at. Iowa 80 truckstop is Nirvana to me.

That’s happening now actually, with the Macan. The all-electric Macan, and Porsche even admits that jumping on electrification when most consumers want a gas car was a mistake.

I think legacy car manufacturers got too forward thinking, leaning into selling products that have the potential to meet a future need, that

Yep. 100% “SEE HOW BADASS I AM (please don’t laugh at me)?!”

I’ve seen them on pickup trucks just waiting to tear the crap out of any pedestrian’s legs who happens not to see them jutting beyond the side of the vehicle as they try to squeeze in to get into their own car; these are not often parked within the lines. Not as much a shin buster as the never-removed, never used,

I always figured these were just the equivalent of truck nuts for semi drivers. Now I know that...well, they’re only 95% equivalent to truck nuts.

Siri, show me a metaphor for 2025.
