And IF you can find them. My buddy was looking to buy a Civic Si in a manual in a major metro market and each dealer told him that they may get “one” next month. 

I would have, if they still sold a hatchback Versa. I don’t like trunks.

Cars.com shows 65 stick Versas for sale nationwide. Autotrader.com shows 72. Even if you assume there’s no overlap and take into account that some dealers use neither platform, There are probably less than 300 stickshift Versas available for sale

My kneejerk reaction is that most people springing for a V6 Lotus are there for the driving experience, while a greater percentage of Broncos are bought for the sake of appearances. Both co’s know their markets. 

I also find it interesting (/s) how vehicles that come standard with a manual <gasp> sell more manuals. Especially these days when advertising a low starting price is a priority regardless of what a well equipped version costs, I am surprised more manufacturers aren’t using that as a way to lower starting costs a tiny

I apologize a bit for not being relevant to the topic at hand but..

Yet they are getting rid of the manual GTI and Broncos with a manual are hard to find. Because of this there will be fewer sales and manufacturers will say, “Look, no one buys manuals, better get rid of them”.

I bet this thing accelerates (in speed and in sound) like a slot car from our youth.
