That’s a very reasonable take. But in some places (like here in the Pacific Northwest), these things are priced like collectibles and then you have people happily investing tons of money and/or work to keep them running. Because of how they were built (relatively simple and sturdy), that’s doable, and you can still

Victim was foolish and reported it as an accident... it wasn’t, it was ASSAULT. She should have said what actually happened “Someone intentionally rammed my vehicle with theirs in the middle of the road.”

I wonder if the police would have shown up if she told them that they intentionally attacked her with their car, and that she was afraid for her safety.

And that broken center console plastic? You just know there was a drunk trying to stand on it while the equally irresponsible driver was zipping down the street.

I thought it was just me, or maybe a bad pic, but yeah.

Panel gaps are all wonky too. The rear bumper is hanging low

They would first tase them, then beat them, they shoot them for failing to obey. Then cuff them.

For sure....but it shouldn’t be paid from taxpayers.  I’m thinking from the police officer’s pension fund.  Perhaps that’ll put a stop to shenanigans like this.

We wont ever know because the dept. will cover it up.

They weren’t even chasing anyone, they were on the lookout. How the fuck are you gonna be on a lookout driving at that speed?

The very first low hanging fruit police reform needs to tackle is getting rid of these undercover bro dozers. The main vehicle should use is a blaze yellow Toyota Sennia with constantly running safety lights. They aren’t suppose to chase or pit people anymore. Just call in the helio and follow at a safe distance.

It will out of the news in a day.  The GOP will find a new bone and the media will follow.  Dem victories are glossed over immediately.

Frank Sobotka for Secretary-Treasurer!

This better make all of the news.  This was one of Trumps October Surprises and it got resolved in days.  This is massive.

It always is.

Won’t somebody think of the corporations?

If Mazda drops the Miata they become just another automaker. The Miata is a halo like unlike any other. If Nissan can afford to sell the “Z” with only minor modifications for 100 years, then Mazda can do the same... heck, it needs to do the same. So much of the brand’s goodwill is tied up in that one car. And let’s

Non-sporting convertibles are nothing new. These cars are just the modern version of this:

There is nothing wrong at all with non-sporting 4 or more seat convertibles. Everything is better on a nice day with wind in your hair.

The Subaru Tribeca. I’m not even sure what they were trying to do with it as they had several models that were better at doing whatever it was trying to do. I’m kind of surprised it even lived long enough to have a facelift done as the first gen was hideous and should’ve been shelved before production.
