He’s said several times that peoples headcanon for Pyramid Head is complete BS.”

Could you elaborate? I thought the understood canon was simply that Pyramid Head was a manifestation of Jame’s guilt along with every other monster and so James showing up in Silent Hill literally is PH’s origin story. But there’s also

While generally true regarding fan headcanons being obnoxious, I think here it’s more along the lines of fans saying it’s just dumb to give a character whose whole deal is being creepy and mysterious backstory that is all but guaranteed to make them less of both those things.

If there’s news about the Dog Ending being removed then it’s all over.

I’m in two minds on this. On the one hand, the hardcore fans tend to be pretty obnoxious about their headcanon and could do with being taken down another peg. On the other, it would almost certainly be terrible, and as a rule I don’t root for games to be bad.

It must be nice living in denial.

That you think the problem is that you’re pointing out that an alternative sucks as well or that you’re “not hating GameStop enough” speaks volumes. I’m sure you think you’ve been running into assholes all day too.

“Your shitty DM isn’t the entire company” is certainly an acknowledgment that a shitty DM exists.

“Never heard of employees pissing in water bottles” turned into “that’s not a systemic issue” (which IMO sounds like a pretty unempathetic way to react to a story about being denied breaks) but okay.

Amazon is absolutely worse than GaneStop just as a matter of scale, but when presented with new information that conflicted with your original comment, you moved the goalpost. You literally are defending GS by insisting that it’s “not a systemic issue” even after multiple people replied with pee break-related horror

I’m saying Amazon isn’t exactly a good alternative if you care about wages”

Those are just small examples and you’ll find no shortage of them when talking to people who worked at GameStop, especially around the 2010s up to now. Good stories are more the exception. These are symptoms of a systematic issue with the company because the behavior of shitty DMs was often rewarded, while good DMs

Anecdotal yes, but my point was more along the lines of comparing bad to awful, in regards to who is a worse employer.

Former GS employee, we have absolutely had to do shit like that. My location was inside a giant mall, too, so there were bathrooms everywhere but they’d fuck up scheduling so there’s only one person and then not let that person have the keys to the store so we couldn’t close the door to run to a bathroom. If the

Not trying “defend” Amazon, but my friend was a manager at Gamestop and she was fired for taking a pee break because when she did, a woman came in and shoplifted 3 toys while the other employee was helping another customer. The only reason they didn’t also fire the other employee was that they made less than my friend

GS employees piss in used PS5s because they can’t take breaks.

I mean, you should probably spend the 2 minutes researching a off brand product/seller to make sure that the it’s reputable?

These days Amazon is like 50% scams. Probably will just be some guy who orders the thing from gamestop to your house after marking it up 100%+.

Strictly looking at it from the consumer side, it is better and quite frankly, the way things have been going, from an employment side too if you are comparing one with the other.

I mean is this at all surprising given its history of being one of the MOST exploitative and abusive companies for game devs to work at, putting profits well above making good games, making targeted attacks against those employees who attempt to prioirtize making good games, and having a wide variety of beloved

Konami has lost the juice, they aren’t good at doing things anymore.

Even after moving away from actively developing their own games, they are still unable to manage the brands they own without disappointing everyone.
