Yeah I’ll admit that Gao’s version of Ada didn’t hit quite right when I first heard her but I’m maybe 50-60% through the game now and it’s fine. It’s neat that they actually have somebody of Asian descent playing Ada in one of the games, though.

It does matter when the studio has decided that $1 billion is their mark.  Trailing a billion is not making a billion, so in the eyes of the studio - a failure.

Even then, broadly speaking: why does it matter if a movie did/didn’t make $1 billion? A movie can be successful without getting to $1 billion.

When all your movies have to make more than half a billion dollars to be considered a success, your already on thin ice. I get the cost involved, but this isn’t sustainable. I was a huge Marvel fan, but I’m bored and I don’t see anything of theirs now until it hits Disney Plus, and I am surely not alone. 

Yeah that isn’t even scratching the surface of Perlmutter being a total piece of shit. It's telling it took his takeover attempt for Disney to be done with him, but he should have been fired years ago.
