Thanks, this was a fun conversation. I think Cecilia had the better argument regarding keyboards but I respect Alex’s commitment to buying fun peripherals, even if the return is marginal.

Getting some Saboteur echoes from Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Super helpful, thanks!
Wow, this is very useful advice! Thanks!! Do you have a screen protector or case that you like? (I’m thinking of my 10 year old nephew, who’s likely to play if/when I pick one up.)
Great call, thanks for telling me. I’ll definitely get a protector if I pick one up!
The same thing happened to me! I did the quest and was like “...am I riding the fanciest camel in the world?”
Update: I picked up the game and you were spot on. It’s different but well done!
Thanks for the recs!
ICYMI the Switch dock has a tendency to scratch the screen if you’re not careful. And I really believe the Pro Controller is the best console game controller ever.
Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out on the eshop if I pick it up!
Thanks, I normally avoid screen protectors but will probably end up letting my nephew play it so I should get one!
Thanks, this is a great idea!
Great advice, thanks!
Oh, interesting tip about buying digital games vs. hard copies, thanks! I’d also been meaning to play Bayonetta 1 and 2 but never got around to it. I haven’t played Mario Kart in years (wrong console systems) but it would be exciting to pick it back up again.
A question for the hive mind: I’m about to hit a career milestone at work and am considering picking up a Nintendo Switch as a reward. I love Stardew Valley and the fact that Skyrim and Wolfenstein can be played on it (not to mention Breath of the Wild!) is pretty exciting.
Those colors...
I liked the trading sequence in Link’s Awakening. What a fun way to tie up all sorts of people and stories!
Thanks!
This is super, super helpful, thanks. Really appreciate the comparative take on the different games and their strengths and weaknesses.
I didn’t realize that you could spend so much time as your bird. I’ve always wanted to do that in a game.
