Spider-Man and Yondu are some of my favorite grief cards.

Wong is a fucking rough card to deal with and the game is usually essentially decided by turn 4 if he comes out. If I see someone drop Wong and I don’t have both a current lead AND Rogue in my hand, I retreat.

A good Surfer deck is nice for ruining that. If you get good draws, you can pair a Polaris to pull Torch (Works great for Deadpool too) out of Armor’s shield and then wipe them with Killmonger before finishing up with Surfer to buff them both.

I like Enchantress better in that situation, generally. Not only are you ruining DD, you’re also getting Skull’s kind of dangerous ongoing out of your way.

It’s just so, so hard to get the right use case to take out Infinaut too. He pretty much has to get dropped by a Jubilee in order to get him with Shang-Chi. The shitty thing about Infinaut is that it’s really hard to go into turn 6 behind when your opponent has skipped their fifth turn entirely.

Someone who’s good with a move deck can surprise you. I get fits from people who hold Strange for turn 6 when I’m expecting a Heimdall.

Most players know better than to load up all their high power cards in one spot anymore and there’s just too many easy counters to him (Armor or Cosmo, in particular) now. Drives are almost constantly on sale. By the end of the console’s lifespan, the onboard is going to be rough to work with, but by then the drives will probably be even cheaper.
