As someone who adored both games, there is absolutely no way Zelda didn’t eat up at least some of HZD’s sales. They both hit pretty much the exact same demographic.

Me over here spending my real, adult money on Marvel Snap card variants:
Jesus, my kid had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the era of no buttons on phones.
I’m old enough to have been there multiple times, but the other day I realized my little kid cousin turned 30 last year and I died inside.
I love my kid enough to deal with the clusterfuck that is modding Stardew, that’s going to have to be enough.
Pleeeeease tell me she was then educated about how absolutely shitty of an attitude that is?
I think we honestly might be a ways out from a Doom casting. I can’t imagine Doom being the primary villain of this one, maybe at most we get a Thanos in Avengers type post-credits cameo with no dialogue.
The big ones for me are Hades 2, LAD 8, Eiyuden Chronicle, and the new FFXIV expansion.
Yeah, it feels like NG+ is usually a post-launch feature and, frankly, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. I have, on occasion, played a game twice back to back, but I usually treat NG+ as a “when I want to go back or a sequel drops soon” kind of thing.
Yeah, that’s all well and good and it’s how TV does it.
In fairness to Lucasfilm, even if they did have a plan in place (Which they had at least the bones of one with the plan being to focus Han, Luke, Leia across the trilogy), they all would’ve gone to shit when Fisher died. The one thing we’ve ever heard from them as far as plans was that Leia was supposed to be a huge…
His arc was great, right up until they made the changes he’s talking about.
It’s doubly obnoxious when going through the rest of it and seeing another character who dies, but that one didn’t get spoiled.
I mean, it’s strongly implied the curse is going to get him before long, but where I’m at, there’s no indication it’s progressed to a point where it’s going to kill him imminently.
That feels like a pretty substantial spoiler for FFXVI you’ve got there (It’s definitely a spoiler for me, who’s currently finally getting around to it). I feel like it’s okay to hold off on throwing spoilers like that right in during a year that’s so stacked with games.
You do realize that this has been about the best year for games in over a decade, right? No shit people aren’t replaying it right now, there are just too many other games to play and it has nothing to do with the game itself.
not counting indie games
Both will realistically hit PC in a bit (FFXVI, I doubt it’s more than a year from release), at least?
I will never recover financial from this year in games.
I, for one, generally don’t prefer to get my recs from Gam3rG4t0r420 on GameFAQS or RedditUserSchlub.
