I mean, it’s mostly just New York, as far as I recall. I don’t think the MCU proper has ever done the “Luthor is president now” angle. They’ve done multiple shitty Mayors of NYC and they had Norman Osborn as, more or less, head of SHIELD (Though not a voting office, so there’s rationale there). Read more

I avoided Trouble like the plague. Have never, nor will ever, read it.

Honestly, this also retroactively adds something to the current canon too, in that it shows that the Jedi of the Republic lost their way more than anything. If the Jedi had it “right” hundreds of years ago, there’s the implication that maybe they fell more from their own poor management than any outside conspiracy.

Yeah, part of it is also that this is the first gaming laptop I’ve ever owned. If this was a desktop, I would’ve just gotten a better cooler and repasted the CPU. Read more

Gimme an MSRP, a release date, and maybe HZD 2 and I’ll be satisfied.

Yeah, no thanks. My wife and I were hoping to go to Disney for our 10 year anniversary NEXT June, but that doesn’t seem remotely realistic barring that miracle that the right is so sure about. I can’t fathom July being safe. Read more

This. Absolutely this. What particularly scares me is that there are real reasons to be concerned that there may be corners cut and the antivax movement is only going to undercut that by spewing nonsensical nonsense and drowning out potential ACTUAL concerns.

Honestly, I don’t think I’d trust next spring. Intense work on it didn’t really start until it started hitting Western countries in the spring and 12 months just isn’t enough time.
