I'm just saying it's a little disingenuous to make the comparison to a new Ford Fiesta when it comes to overall costs. Realistically buying this would be the equivalent of buying a new 35-40K+ car over the course of 5 years.

The RR SC is certainly more interesting, but these articles are phrased in a way that it makes someone seem stupid for buying a Ford Fiesta. It would be nice if a little more effort went into these articles and gave 5 year estimated costs for owning a LR SC vs a new Ford Fiesta . I think we'd end up seeing an article…
Ouch... We had the opposite issue pop up after we jumped timing. Apparently our valve was strong enough to shatter the piston without sustaining any serious damage.
I love that the Donald is the goto helmet for Farah now. GTI, that point by was weak, you're fiahed.
I don't think that's where your valve goes...

The last time I drove a BMW M235i, I loved the way it sounded, but I couldn't allow myself to enjoy it because deep down I knew it wasn't real. Maybe that doesn't matter to everyone, but it matters to me. Noise is an important part of a driving experience, and a car that doesn't sound great isn't worth owning.
You are correct, Ferrari is currently super profitable. The unfortunate thing about being a part of a publicly traded company is everyone wants you to be super profitable(er) whenever possible.
Didn't people make the same argument about Porsche a few years ago? The Cayenne seemed to work out OK for them.
This article is about how the FIAT CEO is envisioning changing Ferrari to be more integrated with their other brands in order to increase revenues and overall profits.
Everyone gets drunk on planes. And walking around with the fasten seatbelt light on is the same as crossing where there's no crosswalk. Do it at your own risk, but it doesn't make you an asshole.
Rip off the door card, find broom, break broom handle off, wedge window in upright position, pretend you will fix later.
Economy plus?
Was this at a standing mile and how modified was the car?
For a social based news site, Gawker sure does make it tough to get things seen!
I've always thought AMGs were pretty American in their approach to cars
Nothing faster than a rental!
I would recommend not posting on Jalopnik while traveling 3x the legal speed limit
From what I understand, the Shelby GT500 was rated over 200MPH but couldn't break 195MPH at Nardo. Will be interesting to see if the Hellcat can actually break 200MPH, I wouldn't volunteer to be the one to find out :).
Recent road and track test had the Hellcat pulling the same lateral Gs as the Alfa 4c. I think the Hellcat would destroy a Mini on anything except for an autocross track.
